Army assigned Islamabad's security

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal government on Saturday assigned federal capital Islamabad’s security to the army. As many as 250 army men will be deployed on sensitive and most important areas of the city from tomorrow (Sunday), Dunya News reported.

According to sources, the army will take over internal security of the federal capital from tomorrow (Sunday). Around 250 army men will be deployed on sensitive areas including diplomatic enclave.
The army men will also patrol Margalla hills. Sources said that the security is being handed over to the army to thwart the possible backlash of military operation targeting militants in Waziristan.
Following the breaking and entering of Sikh protestors into the parliament house, the interior minister had expressed dissatisfaction over the police security.

Is that means, Army concern about regrouping militancy due to peace talks were true. It's like trivia, with peace talks we were able to split TTP, and have the support of some Friendly Taliban who will be useful against gathering intelligence, while still anti-state elements got time to regroup.
