Disregarding the behavior of the members from both sides on this forum, i'm more concerned about government to government, state to state relations.

Indians are back stabbers (nothing new there), Iranians have learned that, and from my recent observations Iran views india with suspicion for how can the Iranians forget the backstabbing they received from india when the latter voted against them in the IAEA in exchange for American nuclear energy deal.

Saudis have maintained strong and cordial ties with india for a while now, in fact they have brought it to another level, please visit this thread i opened and go through the pages:

While they build upon their already strong and cordial ties with india (our enemy), they have the audacity to try and persuade us (but they haven't, thank God!!) into quitting the Iran-Pakistan (China in the future) pipeline because Iran is their enemy?

You have to try understand the dynamics the Arab dictators are scared of an Iranian type of revolution occurring in their lands. That is why they are always itching to do Iran down. the rest is just propaganda, Those Royal families sole interest is to keep themselves in power at any cost. This Shia Sunni thing Persian Arab rivalry is just propaganda. Why Turks are ok with Arabs they have rivalry as well Ottoman empire Arab empire etc.

We are being and have been pressed by Arabs to go against Iran which is wrong it is simply wrong

Whether or not if it was discussed with the indians, my point is why can Saudi maintain such strong and cordial ties with our enemy india while it hurts your (Saudi government) guts when we upgrade our ties with Iran who is our immediate neighbor?

we dont have military type relations with iran, but saudis hit right on the spot, bringing mil type relations with india

turkey also has good indian relations but its not mil type, so we dont have objections

also relations are not very good with iran,its just premature, iranians just killed 3-4 pakistanis by violating and entering our border

Its not about bypassing since its not a competition of who can maintain stronger ties with who's enemy, we just want cheap Gas and Iran has the Gas (plus electricity) that we need for our industrial base to continue to function, not to mention our energy starved businesses on top of that people lose their lives due to lack of electricity and gas.

This is a life and death matter and Saudis here are more concerned about their own interests rather than the lives of millions of Pakistanis and the Pakistan economy.

but americans will never protect saudis, they know it, america and israel will only ensure that saudis have enough weapons that they can injure iranians upto certain point, they will ensure both iranians and saudis kill each other,,,,,,,,,,,
