Japan as I said before has 47 regions , and it is half as big as Pakistan

Pakistan can easily be divided into 97 zones

Each city gets it's own budget
We need to forget concept of 4-5 provinces and adopt the Japanese style small zones

Each city can be allocated a zone of 100 miles
Each city gets budget allocation (Confirmed budget + Bonus budget from Income tax paid from citizen of city)

Just like punjab... Sindh needs to be divided into 3 provinces.
If population size, its ptoblems and economics mean anything then Ghotki and kashmore should combine with the bahawalpur province (bahwalpur, bahawalnagar, rahimyar khan + ghotki and kashmore districts) and tharparkar, mirpurkhas, umer kot and sanghar should be made a separate one due to similar geography, associated problems and socioeconomic difficulties.
The issue preventing a logical thought process is..
We all are myopic and the effort to divide punjab even js not due to population size or uplift but essentially bcoz of associated power game, leverage and political standing of parties and families.
The common sindhi has been brainwashed over the years to believe that Bhutto was a saint, punjabis are evil, everyone wants to divide them and mohajirs want to seaparate karachi to reap on the efforts of their forefathers to develop karachi. The situation has been compounded by alternate political parties now under GDA. Palejo, Arbabs, pagaras etc are not sincere to anyone but themselves and their bank accounts.
I have said bfore sindh needed division like yesterday and if you dont believe me then visit interior sindh, they are literally 2 to 3 decades behind. Civilization is scattered in sindh in cities like hyderabad, sukkur, mirpurkhas and probably near cantt.. Rest is a lawless land crying for attention and change

That would be too much...better option is to make divisions as 2nd tier of government, district as 3rd tier and municipalities as 4th tier of government. We need to Think outside the box and create a government system that work best for us....why do we need relay on stupid British parliamentarian system?
Once we develop a system, we can resolve this Problem. Divide the responsibilities between all 4 tiers of government.
No more Punjabi card, Sindhi Card, Balochi Card, Pashtoon card, and Mohajir card.

Nice share. I hope PTI will begin looking in this direction. Punjab, especially, can benefit immensely from this.

What do you think, about Potohar Province?

Ain't too big to ask for a province. Besides we have easy access to Rawalpindi and Capital Territory. Would rather be more logical to add all potowhar to the Federal territory. Although that's already happening as the newer sectors are going to include areas upto Kahuta.

This will never be allowed by the powers that be. For PPP especially and specifically, Karachi is the cow that they have milked for decades and cannot even dream of letting Karachi be ruled by anything other than a PPP Chief Minister.

100% agree with this. We need to push these types of reforms forward to give an even distribution to development in Pakistan.

MQM needs to be totally defeated before this can happen. Once they are out of the picture, the threat of anti-Pakistan activities will be brought to a manageable level.

When basic needs of citizen are met they will have no need to overcrowd 1-2 cities of Pakistan , and thus it will reduce the stress on the cities


There should be improved quality of life in all cities of Pakistan

Human Development
a) Same quality Hospitals
b) Same quality Schools (Primary and High schools)
c) Central Libraries for promoting reading and literature
d) Similar number of Universities

e) Industrial zones in all cities
f) Similar quality of water , electricity supply and gas supply should be maintained



School Design should be standardized in Pakistan
This much land should be standard across Pakistan for High School

This should be minimum standard of School

• Education Building
• Administrative Building
• Track and field Athletics field
• Football Ground for Activities for Student (Football, Badminton, Volley Ball)

Standard Universal General Design for Hospital should be adopted for Hospital across country

• Basic Medical care
• Emergency treatment

Library

• Each city should house Libraries and Books a standard center of education beyond school
• Free Membership for Tax payers and their children
• Exceptional people need exceptional availability of Books to go beyond what school offers

Easy to conceptualize if Pakistan has 97 major cities
in first phase each city gets

• Every year !!!! From budget Approved each city gets

a) 5 High Schools
b) 5 General Hospitals
c) 5 Libraries

Job Creation

• All high-schools need new teachers (50 Positions x 97 = 500 Jobs)
• All Hospitals need new doctors and nurses (50 Positions x 97 = 500 Jobs)
• All libraries need Librarians and workers (50 Positions x 97 = 500 Jobs)

• 1,485 Buildings in first phase 100% Doable
