Martial race theory debunked as major fallacy or colonial divide and rule policy. According to me, one major basis of martial race theory was sound aka separating sedentary lifestyle people from tough lifestyle men.Although there other basis too (colonial interests).

Practically martial theory is applicable to today's army of India and Pakistan. Out of 20 Paramveer medal won by Indian men, atleast 14 belong to these castes.

I don't believe that in the 21st century you would still attempt to classify people according to their castes ! No wonder the Brahmins exploited Hindus for thousands of years, the Muslims ruled them for a few hundred years and the British did a fine job of colonising India for a few hundred more. Move on !

Yeah! Chandra Sekhar Azad and Bhagat singh were torch bearer of peacefulness in Northern India.

Ofcourse you had to come up with these names.If you look carefully,you will find that Chandrasekhar Azad hails from a Brahmin family in present UP(non-martial race) and Bhagat Singh is famous for hurling bombs at the
Central Legislative Assembly.He threw the bombs in empty places so as create an uproar,but not to kill any one,but the bombs were supplied by Batukeswar Dutt,again a Bengali from the Burdwan district.

The Bengali militant natonalists were so skilled in making bombs that Bhagat Singh had to come to Kolkata to take their help.
You can give me only one or two such examples but there are scores of such examples present where the Bengalis took to the arms against British.Starting from cases like Khudiram storming into the Writers' Building going up to Subhash Chandra Bose commanding an entire army against the British,history is full of such examples.

Everything depends upon the overall sentiments of the community.Post 1900,Bengal was hotbed for militant nationalism.There were associations like Yugantar,Anushilan Samiti,poets like Nazrul Islam,visionaries like Aurobindo.This overall presence,political atmosphere with growing awareness triggered extreme steps.Martial race had nothing to do with it.

The point is,it all depends upon the situation.The Martial race theory was propagated by the British,to give the commonwealth soldiers a sense of superiority,so that they fight with more vigour in the battlefield.The Martial race theory had its uses,it was put to good effect by the British,but,at the end of the day,its just a theory.

I can give you more such examples apart from those of Bengalis,if you are still not satisfied.
The Tamils are not considered martial race,but just take a look at what havoc the Tamils created in Srilanka,under LTTE.The Sikhs have a dominating presence in Indian army,while the Muslims dont.its exactly the opposite in Pakistan.Why? Because of the situation in India and Pakistan.
