Are Muslims safe in Europe?

The US gave birth to the US by kicking your a**ess. And we'll do it again if you colonies continue to get restless:angry:. Only Canada is allowed to beat us in war!!

Hahaha I like that.
Canada? You better look to see who their sovereign is my allied friend....You're not beating us. The Northern front will be available via our Canadian kin. :nhl_checking:

I was only talking about internal situation in the U.S :)

Criticism of American policies abroad is totally justified...
Europe is facing many issues( refugees, terrorism etc) mostly because of blindly taking the side of USA in this so called war on terror and supporting american policies in middle east

Without the French Navy, the War of Independence might have ended differently.
Boeuf Bourgignon beats any hamburger, and Chateau LaTour beats Bourbon and Coke.

American freedom beats all of the above together :D

To be honest, food is something America can never compete outside world with.

Thank God we have ethnic restaurants here from Korean, to Chinese, to Indian, to Arab, to Pakistani, and to European..

It wasn't blind.

Tony Blair, Sarkozy etc are as much criminal as Bush was--if we have to go by this rhetoric.

Don't go easy on Europe for it's cruel policies in the wider Muslim World.

I think American freedom kicks is more to the point!

A single town in Sweden has accepted more Iraqi refugees than the whole of the US...

Sodertalje right? I'd be tempted to say Malmo, but I think it's just got a lot of foreigners, not specifically refugees.

No, because the French Navy WAS there :enjoy:.

History shown kindly upon us, gracing our fledgling nation with a guardian smelling of fancy wine and cheap perfume.

The Middle East is facing even more issues (refugees, terrorism etc.) mostly because not taking the side of democracy in the war on terror.

@AUz Irrespective of Trump the fact is USA is a global state. Meaning it has global outlook and global interests. It will and cannot turn insular therefore despite it's flaws in principle it is bulwark against any far right movements. It is not a coincidence that UK and US were the two pillars of the alliance that purged Europe of Nazism or else you do know what world we would have had. It is not accidental that US has had a black President. Or London has had a Pakistani Mayor. Or that the one of Tory MPs who is touted as possible future Prime Minister is Brit-Pak - Sajid Javid.

Finally in UK there is almost 1,000 years of evolution of rule of law. From Magna Carta onwards. I can't ever imagine 1,000s of evolution would be turned upside down. This country has spilled too much blood to retain it's traditions. However I do worry about Germany, Polish, Eastern Europe and Italy. They have history and we all know about it.

Of course to be fair - the Cardinal here is oright as well. The Swedes are also decent people. @A.P. Richelieu

And the Norweigians despite Anders Breivik are okay too. This is Hadia Tajik of Pakistani descent. A minister in Norway.

Democracy cannot be imposed on people by using force and america supported dictators as long as they were listening to them

I don't think this is accurate. The US has receive north of 84,902 as of 2014. It's less then half of the number that applied, but our refugee process is long, stringent and arduous.

During the same period Sweden had 79,000, a brutally large number for a case like Sweden's, but still not larger then that of the US. It may have changed since then, but these are the most up-to-date stats I came across.

Yes, Södertälje.
Malmö got a lot of Syrian refugees.

For people that forgot:
The Statue of Liberty is French!

Your link says until 2007, not 2014.

That said, the comment about Södertälje is a few years old, so the US may finally have accepted more Iraqis
than the town of Södertälje.

Worked on Germany after WW2.
But you are right, you can lead a donkey to the water, but You cannot force him to drink.

America prefers to have friends in power in important nations.
It will prefer a friendly democracy, over a dictatorship,
but prefers a friendly dictator over an unfriendly democracy.
America has certainly not tried to form dictatorships in the Middle East (at least since the fifties)
Those are all home made.

Pakistan is no different. Pakistan is friends with China and North Korea,
No need to go on high horses.

Anyway, Muslims in France should not complain.
The French does not like anyone else, why should they suddenly start liking Muslims ?...
