it is over-simplication of things. in the future there will be money sharing fights between southern states and the center. It is upto the center to generate linkages between richer and poor states. one of the proposals is to divert waters from the north to the south. I know as a bangladeshi how you feel about that.

South Indians have adopted a lot of North Indian culture & customs. poori & chapathi are eaten on a regular basis in all South Indian restaurants. salwar kameez has replaced the saree. sanskrit names have replaced tamil & other local language names. Outside of tamilnadu & maybe kerala southerners watch hindi movies.

I will say this if Hindi belt states did well economically Hindi would give English a serious run for the money.
As one of my buddies and I joked once (we are south indian). we know hindi, like chapathi and we should marry fair skinned Punjabi bride.

It looks like the organizers messed it up.. I can empathize with these Hindi speakers. I know I would be pissed of if I went to a concert and half of it was in hindi. I would demand my money back as well. Clarity should have been provided about what the concert is about and what language it would be in.

Then rest of South Indians should also ask their money back because half was in Hindi .

Increase foot soldiers. This is how AJK/Gilgit got azadi from cruel hindi army in 1947. Hindi is not mentioned anywhere in the adverts. Only non-English word in the asverts is a the Tamil name of a Tamil movie. AR Rehman is a Tamil. If idiot Hind-ians went thinking all Hindi all the time, that is their fault.

Non-Hindi states should ask all Hindi migrants to pass a test in state language within 6 months of getting employment or leave the state after 6 months. Japan has such law.

Because Hindi gov of India collect huge amount of taxes from Tamil Nadu and give it as grants to Hindi states. Then India gives that money to Hindi states and they give debt relief to Hindi farmers. Tamil farmers starve. That is the protest. Remeber this. For every Rs 100 India collects in taxes from Tamil Nadu, it gives back to TN Rs. 40. For every Rs 100 India collects in taxes from Uttar Pradesh, it gives back to TN Rs. 170.
