It looks like Samsung S-7!!!! this is the primary reason i don't own a Chinese based mobiles

Yes, my Xiaomi Note 3 (and probably other high-end models, too) has it that way. Not much of a nuisance. They also sell their own brand headphones specifically for that purpose.

Can u tell me out of chinese brands huawei ,xaomi, oneplus,oppo which is the best if one has to choose between them?

Ive herd One Plus and Huawei are the top end
the rest are below them like Xaomi and Oppo

also ive herd camera quality of these phones isnt on par with apple and samsung yet

I don't understand how their market data showed they had double the demand they thought they did. That is a colossal overestimation.

And I don't get it, how is an iPhone X over TWICE the price of a OnePlus 5T, how do they get away with charging such obscene prices for hardware which is so incredibly lacking? Not even a fingerprint scanner or a headphone jack, that is just basic stuff.

You can than the Apple fanatics for Apple's insane growth.

Ten year edition should have been priced so its sold alot of units rather then bringing in extra profit, it should have been a phone for everyone.

Most people with a sane mind would rather but an apple laptop or iMac for the money they want for iPhone X

True iphone x is a botched attempt. It was a total n ridiculous waste of money , oe would rather add some bucks more and buy a macbook- a very potent device. I was actually surprised at sheer audacity of apple fr selling iphone x at such hi price without including any new notable features n more surprised at ppl who rushed to buy it. I personally never use face identification for phone unlock my preferable mode is always pin code.

Having said that one cant deny that rest of iphone devices are pretty good specially if one goes into plus series specially for iphone 6, 7 but not iphone x.

I myself think that it's overpriced and doesn't offer much new features to justify its price. And few in their right minds would spend over a thousand dollar for a phone.

Crazy, isn't it? Base price in the US is $999 and it cost Apple $370.25 to make each phone not including manufacturing or software. So their production cost per phone is roughly 38% and profit per phone around 62% but if we guess what the costs are for manufacturing and software, that 62% drops and is probably somewhere around 50%, maybe? So per every phone produced and sold, Apple is earning half of the production costs and then they also have other expenses of course which drops that 50% figure even more. Question becomes, is it a profitable product? Even in large numbers?

Some interesting cost associated factors:
- Face recognition feature costs Apple $16.70 for the true-depth camera.
- The screen cost $110 to make (double the cost of the IPhone 8 screen.)
- The case for the phone (which is one of the neater features of most IPhones) cost $60.
With all these manufacturing costs adding up, hard to see this thing being a profitable product but somehow it is.

I am using iPhone 6 Plus and am pretty satisfied with it & have no plans for changing it, As its stable and of course the new X is over priced..

Same here, other day I spend few time in local shop if there is much difference between 6Plus and 8 series or plus but only more good camera functions, that’s it.
They offer me free latest Ipad on same monthly charges if I don’t change devise.
So I get free Ipad option.

iphones durability is very promising which wont be seen in any other brand whether its samsung, huawei or rest thats what makes apple stand put plus its ios is the safest in terms of protection from viruses. Even if apple will fizzle out it will take it another 5 years period. Not that soon.

Frankly apple has been pioneer in many things thats y i dont wish ill to this brand maker. But they need to continue innovating. And those who call apple products shytt have a biased thinking.

When people are comparing Huawei with Apple, they are missing the point. Apple strives for innovation and pushing boundaries, not for catering to the needs of mainstream crowd.

I use Samsung but I am not blind to qualities of Apple. Funny thing is that even my mother who has experience with both Android and Apple platforms, praises and prefers Apple due to its stability and durability.

Some expecting [legacy] stuff like headphone jack in Apple's flagship iPhone X? (Stick to your cheap Huawei and/or Nokia)
