I am a user of android smartphones such as Samsung and ASUS. Some of my relatives use Huawei and some use Apple. Therefore, I have first hand experience with offerings of a number of famous brands.

Believe me! Apple is a class apart from others (very stable platform with much less clutter to worry about). In the android segment, Samsung is the king. But I am sick of cleaning the clutter in my android smartphones again and again.

Iphone 6s Plus is an excellent smartphone; its camera, in particular, impressed me most. Only Samsung Galaxy S7 series smartphones match it.

It is one of those unwritten knowledge that you can try to tell the quality apart since nowadays high-end phone all have metal unibody and very tightly build. The only way to tell the difference is how you open it. The aesthetics of these high-end phone is just too good for eye-ball test. You cannot tell the quality apart until you open up the phone to see the hardware layout.

I have opened many iPhones myself because I have the skills and the equipment. Believe me the layout of iPhone is really good but I do not give a damn to it, if it does not perform as per my expectations. I always use my iPhone when I travel outside because over the years I have experienced its reliability, It last longer on battery than rest of my collection, a very important factor for me, it is secure and I don't have to install antivirus on it, the touch id works perfect and reliably, the same I can't say for my Samsung S7. I travel a lot and catching flights and trains is important, my wallet app helps me keep track of all my tickets and boarding passes in one place makes my life pretty organised and stress free. And I can easily see all my travels in the last year with precise accuracy. I takes good enough pics. I would wish I had better display like Samsung S7 on my iPhone though and also an external memory card slot.

Pure Android phone = Huawei Nexus, Lenovo Motorola X. Non-bloat software. Faster, more stable.

Non-Pure Android Phone = the rest of the Android makers. They usually add a layer of skin on top of the Android OS. That included their pre-installed software and optimization.

Like I said, the S7 is not true Android phone so what you experience is not the same with a pure Android phone. All of the things you mention I can do with my pure Android phone and about 40% less. LOL That's why I said you pay the extra amount because of marketing which in turn provide better "resell value". But once your warranty expire, you're on your own. This is when quality of the built and stability of the OS becomes important.

I used three iphones in the past four years, but right now I am a HUAWEI user. So I believe I'm at a better position than you to make the comments on iphone. To me, iphone is not that good as you described. It's a good phone, but NOT deserves the amount of money I paid.

Huawei Mate 8 is restricted to 1080p resolution and its camera is also disappointing. Thanks but no thanks.

I would pick a premium-class iPhone over a premium-class Huawei any day. Its not just the hardware, I find Apple software setup more stable and efficient.

I use for calls, planning schedules and meetings, travels, taking photos (not many selfies), i use wallet (app on iPhone) a lot for tickets and boarding passes, I use both regular phone and free calling apps since I have 4g including video calls on face time. I use it in my car for navigation and I keep all my apps up-to-date. I have traveller charger kit for it but I like its low power mode and it turns on automatically. I like how easily i can switch to airplane mode while in flight and schedule do not disturb mode and now the night mode that reduces the blue light. These are few of the things I do with my iPhone.

if iphone could reduce its price by 50%, it's no doubt the best choice we can have. But with the current pricing, sorry, it's crazy.

Despite Iphone made in China, the price for China market among most expensive on earth.
To me most of current Iphone users shouldnt buy Iphone. Many of them buying Iphone for showing their expenditure level

I agree with you that Iphone is unreasonably priced in China. I don't want to be robbed any more, so I switch to Huawei.

BTW, Vietnam people need to pay more to Iphone. An Iphone 6S 64GB is priced CNY 6,088 in China; but priced at 21.3 million VND in Vietnam, or 6,210 CNY.

I am not reluctant to by an iPhone. I would make a decision in accordance with my budget. If I had the budget to get the best Apple has to offer, I would consider it.

Apple iPhone 6s is better then Huawei Mate8 in most areas. iPhone 6s is more responsive and is also equipped with much superior camera. Then there is the stability factor of iOS.

In the end, its about budget.
