Apple CEO Tim Cook: 'Why would you buy a PC anymore?'

.
Whatever you say, I still won't buy any of your overrated and overpriced apple products.

Idk what you are trying to show here, he obviously isn't working but is just fiddling with display. I could browse my Nokia N70 through PC 15 years ago. I know it's not the most correct analogy, but what else is he doing but browsing?

Additionally, on top of all that, i will never buy a Windows 8.1/10 device. Ever. A lot of (privacy) conscious professionals i know won't buy it as well. Sell to the plebs, yo!

With that money you could build a custom PC, a really good one, and it would run 6-7 years without a problem, being able game with it would be a plus side.
idk. i have moved from windows to mac, now im moving back to windows because my mac is useless and i cant be bothered getting another. a decent gaming machine will set you back about £1000.

Apple products are marketed towards a group of users generally not tech-savvy, with a lower IQ and wanting to do everyday tasks.

I'm implying that windows apps can run on your Windows Phone (Excel, Word, etc) . The same executable that you have on your desktop. You can now carry your desktop in your pocket. As the phone chips speed increases you will be able to run more and more intensive apps.

I think we should be expecting a flood of Android phone makers switching over to Windows 10 in the near future.

A decade or more of laptop use and to this day, I am still uncomfortable without a mouse even when I am using it for entertainment. A mouse-less machine is unthinkable and nightmarish at my workplace.

Never spent a penny on any tablet. Never will.

I know what you're implying and i gave you reasons earlier why that won't happen for at least a decade for serious users.

its a 6 yr old laptop, I want it to die, but its just hanging on forever.

6 years is too old for a laptop... I am surprised your monitor has not gone yet...

I don't know what i am talking about.. I am also using a 2009 MacBook Pro and it's overheating.... You can buy 'Thermal Paste' on EBay... They seem to recommend 'Arctic Silver' and there's plenty videos on You Tube about how to apply it... You have to open the inside and get it applied to the CPU (Processors) i am afraid... It might just give another lease of life...

By the way your Prime Minister is in the UK as we speak... Lots of demonstrations by Moslems and Seiks already started here..

Precisely. Android did bring a revolution in smart phones, but in comparison to the other options, it is still a poor OS. Windows has a a wide base of support, features and full-fledged applications. This is one area where Windows scores over any other. It is essentially the same OS! So, you can run the same applications over a laptop, desktop, tablet and now mobile phone.
