Any news about the resumption of new jobs in army medical corps after Corona crisis suspension

Many people question when the new Army Medical Corps jobs, which were suspended due to the Corona crisis, will resume. Will any friend or senior from the Army medical corps tell us when the new jobs ( application/process) for MBBS and BDS, doctors and dental doctors are going to be start again in the Pakistan Army Medical Corps which was postponed due to Corona crisis? What is the next possible schedule of dental surgeon job especially for BDS?

All websites regarding Armed Forces Jobs are silent in this regard. That is why we have need to ask this question on this prime forum

Sir there was an advertisement, last month. Following is the schedule:

• Registration January 04 to January 29, 2021
• Preliminary Tests 03-02 -2021 to 12-02-2021

Means, the registration has closed and the applicants are currently appearing for tests.

If you are a doctor and you have done your MBBS or BDS from a civilian medical college then I would advice you not to join Army Medical Corps.

It will be more like a dead end for your career as end of the day your chances of doing fellowship in the specialty of your choice are more dependent on the fact that whether the Army agrees with the choice of your specialty or not. I have a few classfellows who went to AmC as captains and then were cursing themselves for that. Better stick to civilian institutes or if you are not happy with the civilian hospitals in Pakistan then give a foreign exam and go abroad.

Sir I don`t see anything wrong with army assisting in the specialization process. There has to be a balance of specialists or else there would be understaffed and overstaffed depts., thus affecting the services.

If you are ok with doing your Fcps training in a specialty that someone else chooses for you then go for it!
