A couple of days back I had a chat with a friend of mine in the IAF who is currently undergoing aircraft training in Coimbatore. When I pressed further he said it's a bigger plane than the one he flies. He currently flies IL-76 sorties to Leh out of Chandigarh.
Any idea what plane it could be? Is IAF planning to acquire more IL-78s or C-130s?
