Antony does not rule out force against Chinese intrusion

yes,I guess so.the result of that war will repeat, maybe this one would be in a very large scale.

Those whose guts are restricted to a "tent" ... shouldn't talk about large scale.

It would have been funny to see USA setup a tent in Afghanistan.. or even in Nazi germany.

First compare yourself with pakistan ... when you can upgrade yourself from "tent" to a "kargil", only then you'll get what pakistan got in kargil.

just as your fellow Indian posters said, nothing has changed,in 1962 we also stayed in tents.

yes, china has the guts of a "tent" .. so don't talk about large scale.

The japs taught you what large scale is ... isn't it?

japs were defeated and surrendered to us,unconditionallly of course,if you call that large scale, you can,it was part of the WW2,called Asia-Pacific theater, which China and her allies in the end prevailed.

Japan unconditionally surrendered to China ,the ceremony.

history was not written by you deluded Indians whose country was just a piece of foreign colony back then.do you know why China is one of the five members of the UN Security Concil?

some free history lesson for ignorant Indian posters, maybe their former masters didn't explain the WW2 clearly.

The five permanent members of the Security Council were the victorious powers in World War II and have maintained the world's most powerful military forces ever since. They annually top the list of countries with the highest military expenditures; in 2011, they spent over US$1 trillion combined on defense, accounting for over 60% of global military expenditures (the U.S. alone accounting for over 40%). They are also five of the world's six largest arms exporters, along with Germany[3] and are the only nations officially recognized as "nuclear-weapon states" under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), though there are other states known or believed to be in possession of nuclear weapons.

here you go beggingwalker

India was offered a permanent seat on the council 55 years ago, in 1955. But that offer, made by the United States and the Soviet Union, was declined by India's first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Nehru said the seat should be given to China instead.

Obama supports adding India as a permanent member of U.N. Security Council

we all know how china repaid that generosity

Is that what Indian schools teach?

German Wiki says this: Siegermacht

:hitwall: what he was saying was that the axis countries defeated them. the japs took off china while the germans(real ones) captured france

India was not even a country when WW2 finished,do you have a source for your claim?

yes,France was conquered and signed stipulation.you are right about that, but China?where and when we signed a treaty?in Japanese heydays they only managed to hold onto one third of China's territory, which only includes cities but not rural regions.and Chinese government had millions of regular forces fighting Japan till the end of the war,China even sent expedition forces in Burma and Vietnam,China held off Japan successfully in mid east China and after some successful battles in early stage of the war,Japan was already stretched so far and felt the heat of the counter attack by the millions.even without allies,China surely can kick Japan out of China in some years.almost half of the Japanese soliders killed in WW2 died in China.

so comparing China to France shows how ignorant you guys are,the only treaty China signed with Japan in that war was their instrument of surrender in 1945.

if you choose to remain deluded, be so.

btw.. india refused to sign chinese offer of cease fire in 1962, and with no option left, chinese withdrew unilaterally.

further, china could not cause any civilian casualties or even loss of property. India caused more than half of its own casualties to chinese who attacked surreptitiously with 8:1 ratio. chinese killed: 722, indians killed: 1383. So, don't be fantasise about china's "large scale" invasion of india. you level is a "tent" ... which we roll back, without firing a single bullet.

now, answer for japs:

how many japs killed vs how many chinese killed?
how large was japs army vs how large was chinese involved?
did japan ever offer a ceasefire, which china refused?
did japan finish off with china and further move on to as far as singapore / burma?

did china ever had any remote chance of getting back to japan without usa's atom bombs?

leave alone china, even usa would have struggled to conquer japan without atom bombs.. and probably given in a compromise treaty. And mind, such a treaty would have left china as a province of japan.
