I thought it would be a desert area with less greenery.The last video doesn’t seem to be anywhere near Yemen border coz it looks very fertile.

North Yemen is very fertile. When North Yemen conquered South Yemen in 1990, North Yemen had several times the population of South Yemen. South Yemen is mainly desert. North Yemen is mainly highland, can support millions of people.
