Pakistan made a U-turn on that alliance because of pressure from Saudi Arabia. Imran Khan even paid a visit to Saudi Arabia before the planned summit, which he had helped to organize, to reassure the Saudis but they told him - No means No - and he pulled out in the last minute.

Why so much pain and hurt over someone who does not care about you? Turks get the same treatment in the EU. You don’t see them try to be deferential in an attempt to build bridges with obvious racists.
