Another Surprise on LOC ?

Most effective is ATGM, then 12.7mm sniper rifle, mortar and artillery.

MG class comes after that, be it 7.62mm or 12.7mm.

Why PA have not introduced 70mm Cirit or 90mm Laser guided rockets, will be cheaper to produce in numbers also have multiple use in combat.

We don't have funds for such advanced systems, it's difficult to deploy it at LOC, we use single 122 mm rockets but not as MRLS because that risks the escalation, that the enemy might use also high calibre weapons, we prefer to use retired and defensive weapons, such as SPG-9, 122 mm single rocket launcher, 12.7mm HMG, MG-3, 23mm AA Gun, 14.7mm AA Gun, 106mm recoilless gun, ATGM Bakthar Shikan( we mastered to produce that in masses at a very cheap price, otherwise, we would not use it at the LOC), because the Phylosphie of Pakistan Army at the LOC is a defensive strategy, offensive and high tech weapons are reserved only for the strike corps and elite formations (economical thinking and lack of funds), the offensive weapons are reserved for the war, while the retired weapons and their old ammo stockpiles are used during peacetime at the western and eastern front. Secondly, direct firing weapons are only used, when the enemy posts and bunkers is only 100 meters away, in more hilly terrain and longer distances, indirect fire by Artillery guns and mortars is prefered, here the same thinking to use older guns and ammunition such as the WW2 British Guns which we used during the Kargil war. @Basel your Idea is going in the right direction, Pakistan needs more offensive and especially precise weapons, which can take out enemy bunkers with one hit, something like a Javelin missile., which is small in size and does not risk the escalation ladder.

See where the 106mm Gun has landed, once a part of the Strike Corps, now the punch of the FC!

That’s reference to Masroor AFB and A-bombs in a single message.
Yes there is whole debate in Indian Twitter handlers.... They are discussing nuclear assets being transported in & out of these coordinates. This particular individual seems intl guy...

How will this be effective on a terrain like LoC? Doesn't it given out too much signature and easy to be taken out by a sniper!!

If this guy is from the Army aviation, maybe it's for mounting it on a chopper with a different mount

I love these force multipliers, enough to decimate a whole battalion in minutes.

Range in not sufficient for LOC but we are using some other goodies to keep monkeys engage, our boys on LOC very happy with AA guns....Anti Tank etc.....

We are using sometimes AA guns....
I knew my civilian generals will pick those footage up
hence I pointed out 12.7 and MG 1A3 as well
but the 14.5 mm is a rarity. they make good spectacle but thats what they are ..
they are exceptional cases. 37mm are even used during our operation in the tribal areas
but they are not a norm.
we look for accurate low rate hard hitting weapons like recoil less rifles mortars and howitzers do the job just fine

this vulcan cannon fires at 50 rounds a second. it wont last long

Vulcan Range is not sufficient and they can't make difference when enemy hiding in bunker but AA gun wreak havoc.

I witness myself that we have deployed many AA guns at LOC.

Speaking of LoC here’s Bipin’s new statement. Posting the link here as the other thread had been closed.

Pakistan must test something bigger than 1999 to deter India...otherwise, likely to be attacked and many stooges are on sale inside pakistan.

There are still good numbers of 14.5mm 23mm AA guns in service for direct fire, I don't know how effective these just know, they are in service, ca. 200-250.
