What's new

Analysis : Iran can already make an ICBM anytime it wants

@SOHEIL What is the next step of Simurgh? do we have to cluster more engines for higher booster or we have a more powerful engines? look at this: N1

Not like this !!!

Nositel N-1 was a real failure ... Increasing the number of engines for higher thrust is not a good idea !

Not at all ...

We have other options :

We can convert HS-14 design into a satellite launcher !

We can also upgrade simorgh with new engines , like Russian kosmos-3 !

That's why I asked ... N1 had 30 engines to get enough thrust for Soviet man moon mission which ended in failure while at the same time American had 5 engines for Saturn ... so we do need to have more sufficient and reliable engines with higher thrust to get the job done.

to get the job done first we need to made some alloy that can withstand LOX as Oxidizer . without that our space program face dead end and can't go anywhere .

Pakistan doesn't even have a space launch vehicle, is there any way Iran could sell this slv to Pakistan?

Share the Tech with Pakistan please? Iran-Pak-NK-China have all share missile or nuke tech anyway...
This is quite possible if our brother country kick Americans out of it's lands who are supplying extremists with high tech weapons and making problems for both of our countries.

We have received sensitive nuclear technology, in centrifuges field , from Pakistan so with the same procedure , i mean quietly , it is quite possible.

That's a good point and I don't have any answer for that right now.

Question remains what u intend to put on that icbm??? Nice achievement by the way

Its such a pity Iran doestn bought soviet RD-170 engines while they were rusting in warehouses...
USA buyed them, this engines were lightyears ahead what they had in these times...

Which ICBM !?

Its such a pity Iran doestn bought soviet RD-170 engines while they were rusting in warehouses...
USA buyed them, this engines were lightyears ahead what they had in these times...

Do you mean RD-180 !?

Do you mean RD-180 !?

yes, I mixed them up, RD-180
it was the ultimative chance to buy them after fall of the UDSSR

starting from ~ min.28

60 RD-180 engines! stored in the warehose for more than 20 years.
Soviet engines from the 70s beats everything the US had in the 90s, american were speechless!
And McCain has the nerves to call Russia a "Gasoline Station" with no relevant technologies

Yes an rd170 would be total overkill for irans needs. It was actually the nk33 that was stored away in a warehouse after the end of the n1 program not the rd180

ICBMs are not for conventional warheads so any of the CBRN options can be used. CW is the most plausible one and lethal if used properly. Modern day stability fine tuned CW agents can put up one hell of a fight against with fission warfare in terms of mass annhilation. 80s war has taught Iran good lessons so I wont discount it.

I am personally against it though.
