May be an open letter to your parents would be nice. For they didn't make it to the 30% people who are able to afford alternatives like a generator or UPS or a house in Bahriya town or send you to a country abroad where there is electricity. For lack of electricity is the doing of lot of governments like Benazir, Musharaf and Zardari. Had you sent an open letter to them, they would have dealt with you in a much different way by providing you with your very own cell somewhere. Nawaz Sharif Government is making a serious effort of dealing with electricity crisis that others had ignored. It s eleven years of Musharaf vs another 11 of peoples party vs probably nine of NS. But you chose to complain about the person who may be least responsible of the problem but a major contributor to the solution.

I don't mean to be insensitive but your complain is so childish and politically motivated. Are you undermining my intelligence as a reader or your lack of it. I don't know.

My parents were rich enough to buy me UPS and a gas generator. This summer we even installed solar panels on our roof top because last summer WAPDA wasn't into providing "enough and timely" electricity so that i can "charge" my UPS neither Sui northern agreed to Provide us "enough Gas" to run generators. so i think i am good here. right @Canuck786 ?

SO blame people for not being wealthy and not leaving Pakistan ok a very solid justification for loadshedding

This open letter is so politically motivated that it needed to be addressed and I truly meant every word I said.

I hope they are earning good from the media cell. Alteast they can rise above the 30 percent and educate their young ones if they decide to procreate. (shivers)

We mourn in our own special way. But i know how you feel but i refuse to be all depressed about it. The nation is beautiful with all its different aspects. it will come through. and that is my unflinching faith.

I can be good with words when I want to but in this case I will choose to refrain from making any comments because it could hurt someone's feelings unintentionally. I realized it just by reading your post and how it hurt me. You know I am very blessed to have been educated and living in a country which I don't call mine even after almost 35 years. The country that I do call mine has always been Pakistan and always will be. But when someone like you calls me a foreigner it just feels strange and it hurts big time. Sorry I was so hurt after being labelled a 'Foreigner' that I forgot to reply your post even though I had meant to.

My point is not to blame someone for being not rich enough to afford alternate electricity but for someone to avoid putting blame on the government for the thing they are seriously working to resolve since the day they came into power. If you are ok to blame the Government (working to resolve the Power generation issues) then you should be okay to blame your parents for deciding to have a family without being rich enough to provide you with your comforts.
