They must have never seen foreigners ,it's like indians taking pic of foreigners .Regardless most nations are not horrible to foreigners like India is ,people are chill and meet foreigners with a smile and try to make them feel comfortable.

I agree with you. Fault India all I like but I cannot deny that India enjoys one of the worlds most pleasing image. I am jealous. Pakistan contrasted by having one of the worse images on earth. The crazy part is half of the effort in making the Indian image has been done by Pakistani's. From food, to songs to history Pakistan has helped India enact the global image it has today.

Quite a few Iranians living in Australia watch Hindi movies which was surprising to me as I considered their movie industry to be better than ours quality wise. They also could sing Hindi songs without knowing what most words meant. Regardless of how people on this forum try to satiate their egos, india has an enormous soft power reserve in the world.

China like Dangal,since china is a very family oriented in culture but saying china like Bollywood is utter mis leading. And china like amir khan because of dangal.

In weibo,douyin and in chinese internet as a whole, bollywood have almost zero presence, you can say china like kpop,kdrama,jdrama,japanese anime,korean webtoon, chinese internet is stacked with those in sns or in streaming sites ,but bollywood is almost zero in presence.
The Bollywood movie like dangal lucked out due to China allowing the screening of Indian movies as mean for national interaction based on art,china don't even allow korean and japanese movies to screen in China .Random bollywood movies get screened in china ,since it doesn't appeal to chinese, 99% are flop for chinese box-office standard,dangal out of 775879897080 bollywood movies that have got screened, just happen to click very well with chinese society with one child policy where daughters are expected to carry the burden of family name.
China had little cliche like following for bollywood some years back when it was very poor and k/jentertainment hadn't penetrated too deep due to lack of internet,but as china get more and more wealthy ,refined in culture and modern in outlook,that little cliche has almost disappeared.
