6. America has little to no rule in most of the military coups in Pakistan. In fact, in 1999, America was against the military coup by Musharraf.

Actually he says that the first military coup, the US had no role but reluctantly supported Ayub Khan. The Zia coup was supported by the US and fully backed him later. This also was the period were a perverted form of Islamic extremism was pushed by him in the name of so called "Jihad". The Musharraf coup was fully opposed and later sanctioning was also applied. Clinton even refused to shake hands with Musharraf publicly and gave a public address to the Pakistan radio/TV saying that he wanted Musharraf to restore civilian rule immediately. It was only after 9/11 that Mushrraf got Bush's support.

Just like Arundhati Roy

If you're gonna compare her compare her with someone like Salman Rushdie who is also an author with similar views.

But Najam Sethi is wise man. :) In one of his interviews he also says 'Mijhe pata hai kahin log yahan hume traitor or indian agent kehte hai.'

and I've gotta say people from Karachi generally have a positive opinion of India.
