American Embassy in Islamabad Constructing Firing Ranges & Rappelling Towers

What's the big deal, let them build rappelling towers and shooting ranges, these are for training and exercise purposes only. They can possibly use the facilities to train our very own forces in counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency, SWAT like tactics etc.



I think the largest US embassy/consular force is deployed in Pakistan. Their missions are huge and the embassies provide for residential accommodations amongst office spaces for such a large force.

They come here to spy and you know that.

They accuse Pakistan in the same breath they call it an “ally”.

You cannot in a thousand years justify such a massive presence from US diplomatic and military staff in Pakistan. They require this presence for a purpose. That purpose is anything, but noble.

It is duplicitous, but an end is coming.

We have have teamed up with China for a reason.

Why it feels they are building something to safeguard, rather than just an embassy.
Given the size of, looks like coverup. Embassy would not need so many staff along with big armed forces who need there own firing range etc.

This is a propaganda piece. The only possibility is if US embassy Islamabad wishes to upgrade firing range for police inside diplomatic enclave.

Who gives a shit what they do or don't make. Firing ranges/rapelling towers aren't going to turn every American isnide into Jason Bourne. There's only so much anyone can use them for. The ranges can't be used for any serious training other then the occasional firing practice and rape lingerie towers have no tactical significance. The Marine are no super soldiers either, they are just most likely regular infantry tasked with guarding the embassy as are the norms.

The facilities are being made for the Capital Police at their own training centre.
