Tan is another Chinese Moro Tausug Muslim, he is a historian and wrote on Moro history and the Mindanao conflict (i don't know why he has a western first name since he is a Muslim, thats strange. Oh well the Moro Tausug Sultan Jamalul Kiram III gave his daughter Jacel Kiram a western first name too).

The Sulu Sultans also mixed with Chinese, their bloodline is a mix of Arab, Tausug Moro and Chinese.

He is good at marketing. The question is whether Lee made Singapore No 1 or whether is Singapore is No 1 due to Chinese here. All Sinic culture can auto pilot their way to prosperity, as self evidence by so many Sinic states. I am sick of Lee taking credit for all our collective hardwork. Many in Singapore are suffering as our inequality hit new highs. Singapore is rich per capita in paper but the wealth are skewed towards the 1%. Most Singaporeans are put in debt.

As we are in debt, our fertility drops like nobody, and its now close to 1 child per couple. Lee imported foreigners and foreigners voted for his party, to perpetuate his power. Singaporeans are angry.

Also because Lee implement ultra capitalism, he got cheered by western media. Few outside Singapore other than Singaporean intellect class is aware of what actually happens here, and how Singapore really works.

The last decade Lee has gone crazy. Lee hollow out Singapore industries has become a financial rogue state who feed parasitically on the world via financially engineering, tax havening, financial fraud, money laundering...etc.

Philippines - trying to claim our islands, is allied to and cooperating with our enemies, and is a remnant of Spanish and American colonialism with the Philippine state being constructed on an artificial colonial identity named after a Spanish King bringing disparate peoples together while some of those peoples are getting the short end of the stick by the ruling culturally Hispanicized peoples. Oh yeah and a history of bad relations with Chinese people ever since the Spanish conquered the islands.

Moro - allied and traded with them for hundreds of years, a big Chinese community in Sulu which never had any problems or massacrea unlike the one in Manila, fought with them against the Spanish, supported them with arms, and forcefully annexed and incorporated into the Philippines because America violated the Bates Treaty.

I forgot to mention - the Moros gave the Japanese a bloody beating in Mindanao while the Japanese squashed Filipino and American resistance in Luzon and Visayas.

People will remember the Moros resistance and deadly blows against the Japanese while the Filipinos will be remembered for building a monument to Japanese kamikaze pilots after the Japanese slaughtered and raped thousands of Filipinos during their occupation. Have some shame. The Moros continued fighting the Americans up to the Japanese invasion and then fought the Japanese.

Pinoys need to learn that those who can smell Pinoy BS are not Chinese automatically. The Maguindanao Sultanate used to have political control over the Lumad lands in Mindanao and the Lumads were their political subjects. If the Lumads were independent and separate, the Spanish would have seized and colonized their land and Christianize and Filipinize them. Instead, we have heard of the Moros fighting to protect the majority of Mindanao's land from the Spanish. The Spanish only managed to seize portions in Zamboanga by fighting against the Moros.

Can any of the Filipinos here explain why the Lumads managed to stay independent from the Spanish, if it were not the fact that the Spanish recognized Moro suzerainty over Lumad lands and stayed off them because the Moros fought back when they tried to seize their lands?
