AMCA :: Fifth Generation Fighter Under Development in India

Reality is that LCA is still under development after 20 years (project initiated in late 80's)

India can buy the world's best aircraft, the United States F22 or F35.

We are not even offered F35, then F22 is far away...

Purchase of aircraft is the most economical and immediately to actual combat.

No its not. Do you know if F22 is built in India, the cost would be very less in every stage of production.

Also now our aviation industry is recovering slowly and slowly, putting a stop to this will again cause a vacuum in the industry, same as the one in 60-70s. So its better to give some projects to the industry, so that they could continue to grow.

India should not waste huge amounts of money and huge technical risk, risk to develop its own aircraft. India can buy the world's best aircraft, the United States F22 or F35. Purchase of aircraft is the most economical and immediately to actual combat.

See brother, we are not intending to Lead a Risk free Life, We need To Be Self reliant, we Have a Big Armed Forces For which Buying will not Take us anywhere, We are forced to develop Indigenous technologies... We are Partnering the FGFA project with full TOT From Russia, And AMCA is a Product where we Would Implement The Knowledge we gained, We have all the Infrastructures needed To go for a 5th gen Aircraft...

Eurofighter took a time period of 20 yrs to travel from drawing board to introductory phase.

F-22 took 19 yrs for the same.

Their r many more examples,but u wont understand it because in the veil of fake partner ship program's u get everything from China who in turn copy paste it from Russian MI complex(china is the other nation which share as much as,if not more, incredible record than Pakistan)

dont take so much pains to explain him about developement of fighter planes simply because he dont know what it is.

and its not his mistake its their habit that whenever they read just LCA or any other INDIAN project they add words like DELAY, FAILURE by defualt in their response. they really dont mean it but comes out of habit. so ignore.

I think India's research amount will be lesser than the cost of 50 F-22s. In addition if we add the maintenance, upgradation etc, India can easily break even. But sure they India will be purchasing these in addition to the ongoing research.

PakFa is air superiority fighter while FGFA will be multi role


And AMCA is medium weight 20 ton multirole fighter

Just like China developing 2 fight gen fighters

If we make our Indigenous Industry More potent, we can Jointly develop better fighters Reducing the Working load of the partnering Country and Thus resulting in better and More Productivity besides developing our own products....
