Amazing footages of the Torkham Skirmish

All the fighting on the ground was done by the frontier Corps with one PA company held in reserve.
N the videos are a collection of material from diff places n diff PA exercises with little actual footage

Construction of Torkham continues; this time with more security to check Afghan aggression.

One of my family relatives apparently reported that there were still some minor skirmishes going on...?

When do the airstrikes start? Flattening their posts would be so much quicker. Also, if we don't do that, I hope we can try and capture some of their equipment, it's damn fine.
Have you ever heard Pakistani forces crossing the Afghan border? Its not a possibility because crossing afghan border means a panga with NATO+US+Afghanistan so you see neither soldiers nor drones or planes crossing into the Afghan territory.

Soldiers have crossed into Afghan territory several times.

Pak army have 200k soldiers fighting the ttp are there 200k terrorists? Max 10-20k the pak army have the numbers and the equipment you focus on speaking anout air stike but completely ignore artillery. Us drone strikes. Tanks. Helicopters. Special forces. Satellite images. So what are the disadvantages? The only one is. Is that the border is way too poros
The Uk held helmand province. The pak army seizes territory but when thry leave the terrorists come back again.

You really have no idea what an insurgency is do you? Entire armies with more resources than Pakistan have been defeated before due to the same cocky attitude. Learn history please.

In actual combat, the stance is not always like what one sees in movies or video games. What most people talking here about aimed shots is nothing but BS, talk to a real veteran and he will tell you that most of his kills are not like video game head shots but when he fires random bursts at suspected bushes and later finds a dead body there.

And snipers can't hit you when they are lying in some valley some 3000-4000 feet BELOW you and that too almost a kilometer away. The firing with Type-56 was unnecessary though.

I am not an army fanboy and have harshly criticized the army many times here, but credit must be given where it is due and no need to doubt their fighting capabilities as they proved those by successfully clearing tough areas like Shawal and Tirah.

Well said. Some people here think, you can aim a shot at enemy forces a mile away using an assault rifle with no scope. It's all suppressive fire from a dominating position meant to make sure the enemy doesn't try to assault by getting too close.

Can we not have a machine gun which can he elevated into a fighting position and held in position. However the man marshalling it is deep down in the trench and controls it with cameras guiding him where to shoot. Would it not be safer for the soldier? Just a thought-sort of variation of corner shot or Stamp.

They do have it; but once the enemy spots it; they'll most likely move to a position out of it's visual range.

They are also pretty immobile.
