I believe Current form of AltayT1 provides superior protection than Leopard2A6. Secret formula of Turkish armor technology with Boron based special materials are providing better performance than German armor.

IBD composite armor provide Level-5 Protection at 135kg/m3 against 25mm x 137 APDS-T munitions, While Roketsan Armor reach same protection at 114kg/m3. Roketsan composite armor stop Russian 30mmx165 AP-T munitions at 100,4 kg/m3.

Yeah it's very easy to fly not sure why everyone thinks it requires some genius. The actual engineering of these systems however is what is difficult.

Did you ever wonder why every country can purchase advanced weaponry and operate it? and don't tell me certain countries air forces can't fly because you happen to look down on them.

pilots should have 10/10 eye number, they have to handle 9g pressure, they should have healthy lung, kidneys, hearth and teeth, and more importantly they should have high IQ level to process events in a fight and find out the best solution. if i'm not wrong our air force recruits less than 30 pilots per year. piloting a jet is not easy.

According to BMC, Qatar will place order for 250 Altay T1, not T2 variant. Altay T1 is going to Qatar for desert trials. Serial production is commenced for Turkish Army. National engine (1500hp) and transmission powerpack will be installed on Altay in 2023.
