Don't worry, South Korea is also not solve the engine issue.

Korea use domestic engine but uses german transmission

i expected them to buy SUBs and ballistic missiles but they are investing money in conventional weapons that's weird

I think they are buying this weapons for Turkish base in qatar and they will "donate" this weapons when urkish base are fully functonal.

Turkey is getting TOT for Ukrainian Konus ATGM

During the first stage of the contract implementation, there is planned to supply 120 mm anti-tank laser guided missiles “Konus” and guidance systems for their integration into Turkish main battle tanks. Subsequently, there will be a partial transfer of technologies - Ukrainian guided missiles will be produced at the "MKEK" capacities.

Konus is optically guided missile. TANOK has a Semi-Active laser seeker. I don't know where those rumours are coming from, but both cannon launched missiles do not share any similarities.
