Revolution IS COMING, don't deny that brother But the differences is that these parties will NOT BE a part of that revolution, these people will be hanged in Islamabad on polls..

And many of them dont even know what is RGST and what are they protesting against..protest for the sake of having one is fashion in Pakistan. Please prepare like picnic trips for these protests..they take day off from work, dress in good clothes, perfume themselves..if married then mohtarma will also do full formalities perhaps go to parlor as well. Meals are cooked and stored in advance, small snacks are prepared for munching during protests.

The best protest are Jamat e islami as everyone takes a bath before coming and a shot of ettar. The worst smelling protests are ANP..you will die any minute from the smell.

A French Revolution in Pakistan? Many on this forum would love that. Secularization and truly Western-style Democracy in Pakistan is a dream of many senior members here. Only problem is, they believe Gen. Musharraf to be the champion of such a revolution, not Altaf Hussain.

To me, an idea of Secularization of Pakistan is as bad as the idea of Talibanization of Pakistan. Hence, I believe that Pakistan is awaiting a Pakistan Revolution. No other "template" would work here.

In all these commotion the elite have safely pocketed all the riches that Pakistan has to offer. Make no mistake, the revolution will come - because any nation that does not have symbiotic relationship among people will either get to the symbiosis or break until the symbiosis is achieved.

In Pakistan's case, I believe the symbiosis is being harmed and "profited" by the selected few "elite" classes who are stinkingly rich at the expense of most of the Pakistani commoners.

Its been a while that the rage and anger is simmering among the youth in Pakistan - which is being directed in wrong ways by vile and skillful politicians there.

But the moment the problem is identified (read : proper distribution of welath, denying concentration of wealth and power among elite and finally, economic prosperity), the revolution will come.

And it will culminate in a South Asian Union - in the lines of the EU. for common good of the billions of people living there.

South Asian Union is not possible. SAARC is a failure. South Asian countries dont trust each other. We are not like European countries. Our national and strategic interests antagonize the other.

Let Pakistan and Pakistanis themselves decide what kind of revolution is needed for Pakistan. Each country is different. What works for western countries may or may not work for Pakistan.
