I am totally against any form of quota, merit should be the only basis, but then again why all infra structure development in Karachi only, why all universities and colleges in Karachi only? why all bank head offices in Karachi only, why all industry in Karachi only? why all big hospitals in Karachi only? Did we the "educated Karachietes" ever raised any voice or concerns on equal development of rural and backward areas of Sindh?
Provinces are administrative blocks, they are not made on linguistic basis to give a certain group total monopoly over the local resources to plunder money by dominant ethnic group. Look at the provincial and state borders in the developed western world, you will see (almost perfect) geometrical symmetry because the boundaries are drawn as administrative blocks not ethnic blocks what you (and MQM) want. And making more provinces would only increase administrative costs for the country without passing any real benefit to the common people, in my opinion all provinces should be finished and their should be just one Pakistan, at least we will get rid of six to seven hundred corrupt politicians sitting in provincial assemblies, plundering national treasury.
There is no political reason or agenda of MQM, they are a bunch of criminals plundering money while making the lives of us Karachietes miserable. Tell me which political party they have not collaborated with to stay in government? Why have they have not done anything in the last 30 or so years pass any laws in the assemblies they have been sitting for so long? There demands are so illogical and impossible that will never happen and thus their reason for existence and control over citizens of Karachi.
If MQM wanted to serve the muhajirs they would have made Karachi peaceful to attract investment to create jobs, instead they resorted to extorting money from businesses which made them (the businesses) to migrate from Karachi to other business safe cities. Look at the economic growth of other cities since MQM in comparison with Karachi.
Get the ethnic hate out of your mind and heart and think, has that helped you or anyone else except for the criminals pretending to be our guardians while engaging g in sorts of criminal activities including murder of their own comrades.

why all the big hospitals , factories, and other devloped establisments in karachi, it should be asked to the colonial masters them selves?
BTW PPP was & still is in power who stopped them to make other cities of sindh be develpod like karachi?
why couldnt they hve done that, after all they keep getting the votes of sindhi majority from rural areas of sindh?
just because PPP mainly is established on the landlords & pirs of rural sindh, who think making devlopment in these areas will may result in thier power?
actully concept of development was only introduced by musharaf rule, before that develpment meant was recarpting of few main roads or doing some severge system?
MQM was the founder of parks , better street lights, new roads & new severge systems to the areas which were seems out of limits?
in musharaf,s time karachi went ahead with its barred development, without any major crouption scandles?
why it all happened to rural areas of sindh?
ppp needs to answer that question, since peoples like fariyal talpur were being elected nazims of nawabshah even in the times of musharaf, is a clear proof that they themselves are responsibles for less devlopment or no devlopment in rural sindh?

till more provinces not been made, MQM & altaf hussian are justifyed in thier basic demands?
