True that. If you look at the partition and migration figures about 10 million people migrated to Pakistan from India at partition, and the migration figures for people moving to India from Pakistan was not even half of them...also much less killings on our side as well.

Even now, can Indian media cite us any news like what we read from India....2000 muslims killed in Gujarat, Sikh massacre of 1984, 6000 Sikhs killed. Not a single incident like that has happened in Pakistan...talking about where the minorities are safe.

And let me go further. Karachi is destined to become the biggest slum in Asia. And it's fate is deeply attached to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. And no amount of Ranger operations are going to sort it out. The reason is simple. As we know Pakistani officials are incompetant and corrupt. As the economy lifts in Karachi the "pull factor" goes up. When I say pull factor I mean the pull from poor states in India like Bihar or Utter Pradesh which have huge number of poor Muslims. Those Muslims will pour into Karachi. This cycle has been going on and will go on for decades condemning that city to slums and chaos.

The more the Muslims in India - who number in 100s of millions are persecuted and suffer economic problems the more will head to Karachi where certain vested groups in that city will silently help them in moving there. And then silently mask the true numbers of illegal migrants from India. More attention will be given to illegal Afghan migrants - who also are a problem but the pool is far smaller and they don't have vested parties in such strong positions to help them as the exmple of Mr Sheyrayar Khan demonstrates.

Meantime in this exchange of 100 Indians moving to Pakistan for 1 Pakistani moving to India our neighbours will be jumping and screaming about that one Pakistani who moved to India. Overlooking the army of Indians moving to Pakistan.

Funny thing is although I am not fan of Banglas but I think they are also being shafted and scapegoated. Indians regularly pain the picture of India is being invaded by Bangla hordes. While some might have migrated to India but on looking into this subject I am of the view that it's another Indian drama designed to first make India look good. For example I have seen on Western forums Indian's cozy up to Swedes and Germans about how they also are being invaded by Muslim migrants - making India look like a friggin paradise. This gives the Hindutvas reason to start masturbating about how great India is. The second reason is it gives Indians excuse to explain away the slums and hideous poverty. Blaming it all on the Banglas.

I became sceptical about this "pole vaulting" Banglas because the regions of India that surround Bangla are desperately poor. It does not make sense for Banglas to take the risk of being shot while crossing a border to go to a region which has desperate poverty. Also migrant Banglas have over the decades developed a network that takes them to Europe via Pakistan or Africa. Why the fcuk would Banglas "pole vault" into West Bengal or Assam? Is rickshaw pulling more lucrative in Kolkata then in Dhaka?

You have pointed out some of the reasons about this constant Indian propaganda of milllions of BD Muslims in India.

Another one is that India is very worried about the demographics in the NE. Local Indian Muslims have higher birthrate than the Hindus and Buddhists. Let us take for example Assam which is by far the most populous state in the Indian NE. In 2011, the Muslims made up 34% of the population. With the much higher Muslim fertility rate, within a few decades Muslims will be the majority and then India will have a major headache trying to hold onto this Muslim majority state like it has with Kashmir now.

I am afraid to say that these Indians are even getting these lies published in Western publications where the author happens to be none other than an Indian!

And Pakistan will always be subjected to terrorism managed by RAW in India. It's obvious that if you want to do mischief in another country - say Russia you need people there. If you have millions rolling about it is dead easy to either recruit from that pool or send in operatives who will be able to swim in that pool inconspicously and it is almost impossible to filter them out. Is it wonder Karachi is a lawless city?

Once the lines were established, about 14.5 million people crossed the borders to what they hoped was the relative safety of religious majority. The 1951 Census of Pakistan identified the number of displaced persons in Pakistan at 7,226,600, presumably all Muslims who had entered Pakistan from India. Similarly, the 1951 Census of India enumerated 7,295,870 displaced persons, apparently all Hindus and Sikhs who had moved to India from Pakistan immediately after the Partition. The two numbers add up to 14.5 million. Since both censuses were held about 3.6 years after the Partition, the enumeration included net population increase after the mass migration.

Also how can one gives a figure correct to the tens, like 7,295,870, and how come they are so close in both sides. Check for 4-5 independent sources and figure them out, taking the average...
