Let me tell you one more thing, your AD staff realized about the fvck up within minutes of the disaster, and they most likely informed Iranian regime about it as well, that tried to hide it for three days. If it's not true, when your civil aviation staff reached the site of the crash, and they started to bulldoze the debris, they were 99% sure about their hand. However, they later realized, no matter what anyone does to the black box, it's extremely difficult to hide what their AD has done.

An unintentional mistake of your AD staff was covered up by the lies of your regime to keep up the false bravado of the entire nation.

Till now mostly Iranians have died after general solaimani's killing. Why US needs to retaliate when you are doing it yourself?

Iran said it accidentally shot down a Ukrainian jetliner this week after mistaking it for a hostile target, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

The aircraft flew near an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps military site, ISNA said, citing an army statement. IRGC officials will elaborate on the crash on state media, it said.

The three-year-old Boeing 737-800 crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran, killing all 176 aboard. As recent as Friday, Iran denied that it had fired a missile at the plane and accused western governments of “psychological warfare.”

first of all rest in peace to the dead, what a tragedy which is heart rending itself even from a crash that is due to malfunction or elements.


Iranians had no choice I think they gave themselves time to decide and eventually came forward knowing well that the truth cant be hidden
although they could've adapted the approach of complete denial and rubbishing all evidence as conspiracy of the west but they chose the truth although in my opinion they took too long

recalling our short air war on 27 February last year with India, it was wise decision on our side to close all air traffic until the hostilities receded. there was always a chance that a commercial airline or transport jet could've been shot down by Indians or Pakistanis.
this tragedy and its fallout will be immense for the Iranian regime and although it was unintentional (as even acknowledged by West) but it wont reduce the hurt caused to the victims and the amount of pressure Iranians will face.
this tragedy will be used as a quote by their fair critics and their morbid haters for time to come and they will have to face it.

I am sure you will down thousands of your own airplanes if you go to full war with india.

We have fought 4 wars with India and countless skirmishes including one in 2019 and no we did not down thousands of our own airplanes. In fact we did not downed even that airplane that India wanted us to down and was just sent precisely for this purpose with a military call sign. We intercepted and escorted it out thus saving many lives. So please dont try to draw any parallels between your incompetency to that of the professionalism of Pakistan armed forces.

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the truth be told after learning that a Ukrainian passenger jet had been mistakenly shot down, Fars news agency reported Saturday, January 11.

Fars said it had learned that "as soon as the supreme leader was informed of the catastrophic mistake" on Friday, he ordered that the outcome of investigations "be made known to the people explicitly and honestly."
