The war-hungry US media hates Trump. But yes, he acts "unpresidential" verbally or on Twitter quite often. But he has been extremely effective in action. And has shown restraint that previous war-hawk Presidents would not have. I am extremely thankful that Hillary Clinton did not win, or we would be at war with Iran and possibly NK.

There is a reason Iran targeted empty fields and warned the US about the launches. There is a reason Trump immediately said someone made a mistake shooting down the 737, and didn't slander Iran. Nobody wants war, except the nationalistic hardliners in both countries. And Trump is not one of them.

They are blaming Iran

They are stating it was Iran as the evidence shows. If you want to ignore that evidence, even though it is clear it was an accident, which happens during tense moments of conflict, that is you right. But there is video, flight tracking, and soon to be more hard data.

Between the video of the missle strike, and the plane not circling back as Iran originally claimed, and the international reaction shifting, this is going to be an accident due to being on edge, fearing a retaliatory US airstrike.
