Iran is already destroying the scene by cleaning up before anybody outside could study it close. Already using bulldozers.
truth will come out
no matter who is hiding it and whoever is fabricating a lie.

Why should it not have been? Many other planes was in the air at the same time and same altitude
What?? you were in midst of a conflict.Just two hours earlier you made your move. There should have been a total airspace ban announced by the Iranian govt. the day your general was killed.Everybody saw revenge coming. If you are saying there was no airspace-ban in first place, then its the govt.'s fault. This is against the SOPs.. why did they do this?was it some calculated risk for a surprise , doesnt seem so because,US was informed about the strikes 90 minutes prior.

The missiles were launched from Tabriz in North-Western Iran. Plane crashed in Tehran, which does not border Iraq. Look at the map. Look were Tehran and Baghdad is located.

There is no reason Iran would put ADS in Tehran on high alert as some people claim. Did the ADS operator think a plane teleported from Baghdad to Tehran?

US could have replied from any adjacent territory. They could have violated Pakistani airspace last minute to attack your eastern provinces. Why do you you believe the response would have come from Iraq only? They could have intruded from the north end..Tehran is sitting next to the Caspian. You are dragging this back to your case that it wasnt hit by ADM..
The original question was why Iran didnt have an Airspace ban in first place..

We can only speculate.

  • They didn't care about civilian planes or they wanted to shoot it down.
  • They forgot to close the air space, or issued the order but the man responsible of delivering the message forgot to do it. Message was sent but not received, there are many possibilities.
  • They didn't expect a retaliation from US,
  • Sams at border cities was put on high alert, and there were no fights in airspace over border cities,
There are billion scenarios. Who knows what happened.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Russian deputy foreign minister said on Friday that Moscow currently sees no grounds to blame Iran for the crash of a Ukrainian airliner near Tehran, contradicting statements by Canada and others, the TASS news agency reported.

Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau said on Thursday that the airliner that crashed on Wednesday was likely brought down by an Iranian missile, citing intelligence from Canadian and other sources.

Sergei Ryabkov, who is one of several Russian deputy foreign ministers, called on senior world officials to refrain from public statements until more details are known, TASS reported.

Iran said it accidentally shot down a Ukrainian jetliner this week after mistaking it for a hostile target, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

The aircraft flew near an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps military site, ISNA said, citing an army statement. IRGC officials will elaborate on the crash on state media, it said.

The three-year-old Boeing 737-800 crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran, killing all 176 aboard. As recent as Friday, Iran denied that it had fired a missile at the plane and accused western governments of “psychological warfare.”
