Ajay Jadeja telling about Wasim Akram

Waseem Akram is the greatest fast bowler of world cricket's history. Not surprising.

Even the likes of Brain Lara, and Ponting declared him as "the hardest bowler they ever faced in their career"

As a fast bowler, he took 500+ ODI wickets with an unbelievable average of 23. And his career economy after 356 matches as....are you ready?.....3.8!!!!!

Holy Cow!

Remember, he played in the modern era where helmets were on, bouncers were restricted, bats got bigger, pitches got batting friendly...competition sky-rocketed with world-class players around (Tendular, Lara, Ponting, Kallis, Jaysuriya and other batting legends in their prime!!)...What Waseem has achieved is the peak of fast-bowling. I don't think he'll ever be crossed by any fast bowler now.

Only people having better economy than him are probably "cricketers" from 1910 or 1950's etc...LMFAO!!!

Never liked him.................i always liked waqar more

Waqar was a legend too.

Waseem had more skill though. Way more skill than anyone I've ever seen.

nope...........irfan pathan bowled better than him for 1-1.5 year.
Best swing i have ever seen.

But then 1.5 years is nothing

Waqar had the pace and the swing his Toe crushers were impossible to play at his peak era.. Waseem was more into reading batsman's mind and deceive him with his swing

Just for your knowledge it was Waseem Akram who coached him for his batting and swing skills

My favorite batsman is tedulakr & fav bowler is wasim akram. Two Ws, Wasim & waqar combination, then shoaib akhter, Abur razaq & Saqlain Mushtaq... Perfect combination... That's why we had wonderful record against India & others...
