Airspace violation: 2 Indian fighter planes enter Pakistan territory

Head SUlaimanki is near Okara, so the nearest airbases for ADA response would be Sargodha or Multan. Sargodha would probably be having the ADA duties for that sector.

2 minutes inside our territory considering that we can track Indian aircraft in Indian airspace as well...so for discussion's sake, let's consider we tracked those IAF aircraft for minutes. Isn't this a slow response by PAF then? Considering that the article doesn't mention that aircraft are scrambled?

What is the ADA response time in peace times like now? I'd guess 5 minutes?

Anyways, maybe just a loss of bearings by the IAF pilots.
somebody mentioned PAF's ADA response time was around 3 minutes. But unless we dont have a tracking asset up, it would always be difficult. Thats why an AWACs squadron must be raised at mianwali or shorkot to keep a premptive track of activities inside Indian Airspace

Exactly Sir its a shame PAF chief either should resign or should explain why were they not shot down and where were our fighter jets the mighty F-16 and JF-17 Thunder and other jets

Not interested in doing tango with sukhois.:smart:
They were chilling with beers, knew this was just a little bit of trolling from IAF,why risk their heads and reputation by dancing with sukhoi.

Now we should see Nawaz Shareef response and what orders he gives to Pakistan Air Force its time for Nawaz to show guts

Negligence of Pakistan Air Force ?
Two Indian fighter planes entered Pakistan’s airspace near Head Sulemanki border, Express News reported on Tuesday.

According to initial details, the fighter planes entered Pakistani territory at around 10:41am and stayed there for around two minutes.
The planes were reportedly five to seven miles inside Pakistan.
As soon as the violation occurred, the air traffic controller signaled the planes for a sign explaining the move. When no signal was sent back, the air traffic controller informed Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
While PAF was preparing to respond, the Indian planes had left.

Lol,180+ sukhois vs 18 blk 52 f-16s.I'm sure nawaz will do the smart thing and tell PA to keep things calm and not try LOC firing and violation.

News Papers and channels are saying they were given warning why on earth they were given warning why were they not short Assembly should summon PAF chief and ask him what the hell his forces were doing can they only bomb their own people

Chill out dude, the Indians were barely in our territory for about a minute, very little reaction time, under such circumstances, the intruders are warned, failing that a scramble is ordered.

ahan ...how u confirm that it is a bulshit news...it is everywhere in pakistani tvs that two aircrafts of iaf entered pak air space..:sniper:

ADA response varies time to time. Sometimes it is 2 minutes with the pilots sitting in the cockpit on the flight line as in 2008, sometimes it is 5 minutes as probably is the case now.

As for the AWACS, a Saab 2000 detachment is usually present in Sargodha. Besides, we can't really afford to have a AWACS in the air all the time. I don't think tracking a aircraft is all that difficult, AWACS is more useful in coordination, just tracking can be done by ground stations. As I said before, we can see air traffic inside Indian territory.

Btw, PAF has given a brief statement now, saying 2 'high speed' aircraft came inside airspace. So what's a High speed aircraft?

Yes Sir according to what I know PAF can see these planes coming fast towards us for long they should have sent their planes in air the moment they came 3 to 4 miles close to our border Sir

When both Aircraft came towards the border ... even they'r on the RADAR WHAT THE HELL PAF sleeping ????? Why not Shootdown ????

No real modern SAMs and aircraft afraid of sukhois.Only blk 52 f-16s would go toe to toe and very few, probably there wasn't any in this area.
