where did you get that kind of information. Antonov is a fine airplane. The AN-32 is an excellent light-medium transport aircraft that can also be used as a tactical bomber and it can take 8000kg of bombs including laser guided ones.

We needed something bigger. We are already using c-130B in medium lift transport aircraft, so it is the best option for us.
