Evading Radars is not that difficult
US has the satellites up in Pakistan airspace , these geological satellites - give a 3D view for mission planners.
The 3D view also displays the areas where normal radar rays would not reach and which areas would be visible
Flying low to ground (Easy for Helicopter) also allows the craft to be undetected
Every radar has a specific range coverage, if the 3D plotter can develop a patch for your craft from position of location of radars and terrain and low flying.
Not to mention the helicopters were also stealth and mission was done in (no moon night)
Technically if you fly a old clunker , low to ground you can remain undetected for long durations of your flight
Good Read
