Ahahahahah..good you pointed that out. I thought China and Russia were strong allies? Judging by comments on Russian propaganda RT the Russians seem to be very pissed with the Chinese buying their Soviet tech from Ukraine. :rofl:

I bet Ukraine has already sold the AN-225 blue print to Chinas as our floating casino :p:, so the cooperation with Ukraine is to reward them with some manufacturing contracts to save Antonov.
The problem here is that now Ukraine and Antonov don't have the capability to manufacture An-225 without support from all the resources of former USSR. It is not just money they need, but all the manufacture infrastructure support.

And Ukraine knock the right door, China is a almost complete manufacturing chain supply for aviation product at exception of key material for engine, China will be able to revive An-225 as we did with Varyag carrier, and Ukraine technicians technical assistance will surely able to bring An-225 production line to live again.
