even if someone believe you for a minute. Do you think any country have a capability to rectify the problem of ICBM with in a day? if it were unsuccessful , it could have been delayed for at least 5 6 months , not for 24 hour.

There are many sections in the underground great wall, if one section has been destroyed, then the remaining ones will be blocked.

BTW, having both underground and underwater great wall is a double check for our nuclear deterrence, since we do have far more mountainous areas compared to both US and Russia, which is more resilient against the nuclear attack than the steppe and plain areas, that's why we took our geographic advantage to build this underground great wall.

However, we need to keep in mind the accuracy of nuclear weapons. For example, US nuclear arsenal is known for its high accuracy and not just destructive power.

Point is that if some EPW are unleashed on some entrances of this underground facility, not just that the frontal sections may get decimated but the threat of collapse of other sections also exists due to enormous power of the shockwaves produced by the nuclear bombs.

Now one factor that works in Chinese favor is the size of this underground facility. Due to this factor alone, it is possible that some sections may remain intact even after deliberate attempt to damage this facility as much as possible. However, the intact sections can get TRAPPED.

Therefore, my point remains that marine environment provides best possible second strike capability in comparison to other environments.

One particular section of the underground great wall can withstand 100 of special bunker buster nukes, and the underground great wall was divided into many sections.

To completely destroy it, US may require their entire number of their nuclear stockpile, however, not all of their nuclear stockpile is for bunker buster, while it is freaking expensive to swap it for the bunker busters.

For now, US cannot deal with our underground great wall, nor with our underwater great wall as well.

And our underground great wall does contain many entrances as well.
