What's new

Agni III doesn't pose threat, we share friendly relations with India: China

Agni III is so obese that you need to dissemble it before you can transport it. And not any truck or train will do, but specialized trucks and trains. Then you have to reassemble it at one of a handful of satellite launch sites. All of these can be seen with the naked eye, much less need for satellite.

Agni II will only cover part of Tibet, Yunnan, and Xinjiang. With ABM in place, these suckers are toast.

Agni I range limits it to attack Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar and outer ranges of Tibet. But why do you want to hit Mount Everest? :)

 I remeber a joke.... from the internet... pasting it below..

Just jokes buddy.. Don't get harsh at me... :)

Indo-Pak Nuke war
The Pakistan army decides to launch a nuke-missile towards India.

They don't need any permission from their government, and promptly order the countdowns.

Indian technology is highly advanced.

In less than 8 seconds, Indian army detects the Pak Countdown and decides to launch a missile in retribution.

But they need permission from the Government of India.

They submit their request to the Indian President. The President forwards it to the Cabinet.

The Prime Minister calls an emergency Lok Sabha session. The LS meets, but due to several walkouts and severe protests by the opposition, it gets adjourned and adjourned indefinitely.

The President asks for a quick decision.

In the mean time, the Pak missile failed to take off due to technical failure.

Their attempts for a re launch are still on.

Just then the Indian ruling party is reduced to a minority because a party that was giving outside support withdraws it.

The President asks the PM to prove his majority within a week.

As the ruling party fails to win the confidence vote, a caretaker government is installed.

The caretaker PM decides to permit the armed forces to launch a nuclear missile.

But the Election Commission says that a caretaker government can not take such a decision because elections are at hand.

A Public Interest Litigation is filed in the Supreme Court alleging misuse of power by the Election Commission.

The Supreme Court comes to the rescue of the PM, and says the acting PM is
authorized to take this decision in view of the emergency facing the nation.

Just then one of the Pak missiles successfully took off, but it fell 367 miles
away from the target, on its own government building at 11.35AM.

Fortunately there were no casualties as no employee had reached the office that early.

In any case, the nuclear core of the missile had detached somewhere in flight.

The Pakistan army is now trying to get better technologies

The Indian Government, taking no chances, decides to launch a nuclear missile of its own, after convening an all-party meeting.

This time all the parties agree.

Its three months since the Pak army had started the nuclear war.

But as Indian preparations begin, "pro-humanity" and "anti-nuclear" activists come out against the Government's decision.

Human chains are formed and Road Rail Blockades are organized.

In California and Washington endless e-mails are sent to Indians to stop the war condemning the Indian government and mentioning "Please forward it to as many Indians as possible".

On the Pakistan side, the missiles kept malfunctioning. Some missiles deviate from target due to technical failures or high-speed wind blowing over Rajasthan.

Many of them land in the Indian Ocean killing some fishes.

Pakistan had enough of it's own technology.
A missile (smuggled from USA) is pressed into service.

Since the Pakistan army is unable to understand its software, it hits its original destination: Russia. (The smuggled missile was an old one made during the cold war times)

Russia successfully intercepts the missile and in retaliation launches a nuclear missile towards Islamabad.

The missile hits the target and creates havoc.

Pakistan cries for help. India expresses deep regrets for what has happened and sends in a million dollars worth of Parle-G biscuits.

Thus India never gets to launch the missile.

Pakistan never gets it right.

Did the fish mutate and become Bangladeshis ?

The Agni III really does not post a threat at all. To the warmongering Indians: you can't fight a machete with a fork.

It has done enough to make your leadership to at least sound more humble. And that means a lot. See what one missile test can do? Agni-III is enough to make China behave like a good beast. And more good news, you will see only in a couple of years a 12,000 KM range missile in the making. If such missiles are approved, there is no lack of capability or technology here to produce ICBMs.

Yeah right, when will the night trails for your invincible Agni 2, 3 take

place ?

ICBM ? something like your secret ICBM "Surya 1,2" program ?

Royal salutes to the team of scientists that achive this.
Indian defence scientists have embarked on Project Agni-V to develop a long-range missile by the year 2010, which can strike targets over 5,000 km, programme director of Agni weapon systems, Avinash Chander said on Wednesday.

After the success of Agni-3, which is ready for induction, we have started working on Agni-5. It will be a three-stage, all composite, solid propellant fuelled and advanced version in the Agni class of ballistic missiles with a range of over 5,000 km. The development process has already begun and in the next two years, the weapon system should be ready, Chander said.

Though most of the systems for the Agni-5 will be from Agni-3, the new systems have to be scaled up. It will be a modified design and has to go through the entire process of development and testing. We have the technology ready with us. It will be availed from the already prepared Agni Class missiles I-III. However, the Agni-5 is going to be more powerful and have a greater range. For this the design of the missiles delivery system has to be modified to suit the requirements. But, since we have existing successful technology model readily available with us, the time taken to develop this new missile will be much lesser than before,he said.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation has developed Agni-I (700 km), Agni-II (2,000 km) and Agni-III (beyond 3,000 km), which can carry conventional and nuclear warheads. Agni-V is its latest project, which could be the final one in the series.

Does it mean that we have capibility to hit Rmax - 5000 KM?:what:

On the other hand no matter how many mid course ABM tests china do some people will never change.

It's time that people stop thinking China is inherently malicious.

It must have a silo to accommodate such a fat lady with unknown weight!

We have special program to make use of species like semi nigers or Indians, you might truely be the best of your kind. Don't give your dream up. :welcome:

It's not witty to use incomprehensible English.

My all encompassing wit seems to just go woosh over Pakistani and Chinese heads.

Any source on the 12,000KM range missile? Did you grab out of your behind?

regards,

Mid course interceptor is just a show for political purposes but currently has no practical usage.

There was a rumour on a missile called "Surya"..

An ongoing rumor for years and years? Why is it coming out soon? Maybe its already deployed and India has 2000 such missiles. Why not?
