What's new

After waiting for a hundred years, they finally became a member of China

Mostly because he was scared of the retaliation. The Cuban missile crisis was over and Kennedy thru Galbraith had started sending India weaponry. So China withdrew unilaterally.

China did kept Aksai Chin and half of Panglong. This is sensible. Because India cannot project herself in Aksai Chin.

Even today China just bomb Manali highway and Ladak will be cut off. And China can take back Western Tibet.
