After Both Tanks Break Down, India Knocked Out Of International Drill

Being heavy its just an excuse. Lobbies did same with Tejas, did same with Arjun or even with ISRO.
Test pilots of tejas were killed in doubtful conditions ? how ? ISRO scientist were killed ? how ?
None from govt spoke about it.

Being heavy is a problem if the terrain is unsuitable. In an Indo Pak conflict, the armies will face a huge number of canals, boggy fields and rivers. How is the Arjun going to navigate through them?

I find it more then slightly amusing how Indian's are making fun of the Chinese. The only time India has faced a enemy it's own size was China in 1962 and it was bent over, raped and sent crying home. The only military success they ever have had was when they joined in with Banglas to defeat a country six times smaller - Pakistan in 1972. Even then they had to take advantage of the Bangla Mukhti Bahini fighters. To defeat Pakistan it took six to one advantage and even then teamed up with Banglas when Pakistan was caught in what was a civil war.

And now they are acting big in front of China.

Sad ... despite putting huge efforts by Indian crew which put them in top slot the technical fault in machine put them out of competition.
Definitely, there is no parallel to man behind the machine.
Home grown technologies usually boost confidence as you properly know the pros and cons and also know how to handle the downside.
Though I am not expert on military hardware but IMHO the professionals/leadership in Indian Army will be more aware of the facts than this forum; so as outcome of this competition, I am sure they won't let it go unnoticed and will take appropriate remedial action.
After all it will be their decision for status quo or a replacement.

Indians (Hindus) are very cunning people they knew in case of war between India and China, India would appear as defeated but they are still want war (not full scale though) for achieving two thing.

To portray China a big mighty power but with villain status,
They will get victim status and they knew with that status US would provide TOT like F16 assembly line to counter China.

They did the same thing during 1962 and as a result they receive huge amount of weapons and money against China.

Agreed. Pakistan has consistenly proven to excel at making catastrophic decisions. Three of them are -

(i) Should have launched "Police Action" to grab Kashmir in 1947 using full scale military attak exactly when India launched "Police Action" when it grabbed State of Hyderabad.

(ii) Should have launched full scale war on India in 1962 when India was being raped by PLA in Sino-Indian war. You hit the enemy when they are down like we were in 1971.

(iii) Should have launched a small scale invasion [in concert with US) of Kabul in 2001 to preclude Northern Alliance grabbing power. No Abdullah Abdullah. No Amraullah Saleh.

But then our leaders always miss the boat don't they?

China did offer Pakistan to participate 1962 war and grab Kashmir but Russia send warning to join Indian in that case and at that time US also warn Pakistan for doing that because they fear Russian involvement and world war.

Hyderabadi Nawab was offered our military support but they fell down so quickly that no one could reach them but previously he was deceived by India and that is why he didn't join Pakistan but when Hyderabad fell he send instruction to send all cash to Pakistan which he have in London but India counter claim it and still case pending in UK court.

Good points. Your strategic genius is hard to match.
