Pressure on whom? there is never any pressure on people. Pressure can be on govt or a PM to take side by weighing their options but public opinion is sentiment driven. Let me give you a example, BD govt is heavily in favor of India due to various factors but its people you see here are the exact opposite.

In case of afghanistan we realize, their govt as well as their people today are fully pro-India. Another feather in the cap for our foreign policy because of the strategic value afg has. This is years of hard-work paying of.
