Honestly I can not fault them for opening businesses and wanting a better life, heck if I was in their position I would be doing the same thing, it is just when they claim Gwadar, Attock, Mianwali etc that gets me charged up.

It is not just Afghans , we have millions of illegal immigrants from quite a few other countries. God knows what are they doing here . i suspect most of them are in Karachi for work .

ISLAMABAD: Around five million illegal immigrants have been residing in different cities of Pakistan for more than three decades.

The illegal immigrants, around two million Bangladeshis, 2.5 million Afghanis and 0.5 million other nationals including Africans, Iranians, Iraqis and Myanmars, are currently living in Quetta, Peshawar, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities, an official said on Monday.

Its the Afghans with businesses and decent earnings in Pakistan than the ones picking up garbage, who provoke the hostility of locals, particularly those who have their own businesses . Why do you think a member like @Dalit (from Nowshera city ) and @RealNapster (also from Nowshera city) are saying so mean things about Afghans on this forum?. Afghan refugees are scapegoats.

Whenever there is crack down on Afghan refugees , its on poor ones , not on those living in Hayatabad and other posh areas. I despise in injustice, in my opinion those wealthy ones should also be sent back to Afghanistan, why only poor has to suffer?

The Brits here also don't like the Polish workers because the Brits feel like they have taken their jobs so it is just a case of being jealous because they aren't as successfull as the foreigners.
You are right, refugees and foreigners are always the scapegoat in any country to fool the populace and sugar coat the short commings of the governement.

The rich contribute something to the local economy while the poor are a burden, that's why in the UK all the rich Arab sheikhs are welcomed to London but the asylum seekers are looked down upon. Also the poor can be recruited for terrorist activities and criminality as they are desperate for money.

legals ones should stay and illegals should be go pakistan should heavily wall and fence the afghan frontier its an international boundary and should be treated like such.Afghanistan should be respected and we should keep good diplomatic relations yet also completely detached and kept at arm's length like iran does.

Slowly

All Afghans who have proper documents should not be told to leave immediately. Other should be sent back. The next phase should displace the immigrants back in a proper manner. People should remember that although many of them are involved in crimes, not all of them are. They all should be sent back to their land slowly but permanently when suitable. While they are here, they should adhere to Pakistan’s laws.
