You see here is the big difference. World of difference. America,british and russians all had to stay there after their respective invasions as they came in the pretext of promised development and change thus it was very very hard for them to keep themselves safe as afghans from different places would do surprise attacks left,right and center.

Pakistan
1, Is in no mood of launching an invasion and least of all an invasion where we stay to develop the country no. We are looking for surgical strikes and if we have to do surgical strikes in kabul to hunt these TTP Dogs then we will do so and afghanistan cant do a Damn thing abt it expect whine.

2. The reason why afghanistan gave heavy losses to russians,british and americans is bcz they were fighting on ground on their turfs. Both armies had prolong stays. Afghanistan neither has the military capability to launch an invasion on other countries nor the strengthened unity to create a set army for invasion. These days Wars have changed and you cant invade a country who has massive military might and has experience fighting terrorists hiding in mountains on their own turf.

Pakistan will never fight on ground in afghanistan and if they do it will be a hit and run strategy while afghanistan at best can only support proxies in Pakistan which it already is doing.

Afghan Defense Minister Bismillah Khan Mohammadi says Afghan forces are ready to take action against Pakistani troops if they do not stop firing rockets on Afghan border villages immediately.

General Mohammadi, however, also told Afghan parliamentarians that the country’s military forces would wait for an order by the government to retaliate the attacks.

The warning came as tensions have been on the rise between Afghanistan and Pakistan in recent months over cross-border attacks.

Afghan officials say at least six people were killed and around 40 others injured by rockets fired from Pakistani territory in recent days.

The Afghan government also warned on Sunday that it would pull out of the security talks with Islamabad over the alleged cross-border rocket attacks by the Pakistani military.

Afghan security officials have already said they will not participate in a regional security summit in Islamabad scheduled for June 4.

On May 27, more than 300 rockets fired from the Pakistani side of the border, landed in different parts of Afghanistan.

Earlier in May, a Pakistani security official was killed by shots fired from Afghanistan in the mountainous border tribal region of Bajaur, which has seen bitter exchanges between the two countries over the demarcation of their border.
