Afghanistan: Informal Colony of India

No, many posters here repeat like parrots what they heard of their government. India, RAW, NDS, TTP, colony, Hindu, Namak haram, I guess you get my drift by now, don't you.
None of you have been to Afghanistan and your opinions, is not worth 2 cents, unless of course you guys have a bachelor in Afghan studies, which I highly doubt...

Going to Afghanistan does not qualify one to make assertions about Afghanistan.
Well I assure you the handful of posters who study Afghanistan here and not the casual commentators know their material -- as I've said I challenge you, @A-Team, @Sher Malang to have a fact, based conversation on any topic. And I extend the challenge not in a belligerent manner but in the spirit of inquiry.

There is no facts or figures in this forum. Only assumption and conspiracy theories made by Pakistanis. They don't retreat, but either get annoyed by the constant insults thrown against Afghans without moderators doing a jackshit about it, or get banned because Pakistanis cant handle the truth.

Who said that -- plenty of facts and figures get posted here.

I'm sorry but I think this forum is well moderated -- And for example I have not seen any fact figure from you.
I challenged you to dissect one good Afghan Engineering college -- and your response was go ahead -- so please let's not get carried away. Pakistanis can handle the truth much better than Afghans can -- even possibly (possibly) better than Indians. I challenge you to find and article in an Afghan newspaper of record -- hey we'll even allow for a blog which condemns the burning of Pakistani flags in Afghanistan, or the poor treatment of Pakistanis in Afghanistan. By comparison I can post numerous articles which condemns the expulsion of Afghan refugees from Pakistan. So there you have it -- the challenge is there -- so if you rise to it -- and I am that is clearly not an insult.

oh don't give me that. One need not to look any further than basically any damn thread in this forum to see the mentality of Pakistanis. This forum isn't for education, it is for propaganda and ignorance regarding other countries.

I'm sorry but I have not seen any facts from you yet ... do you want to do an analysis of AUAF -- I have not updated mine in quite a bit. Join me -- and I encourage @A-Team, @Sher Malang to join in on that. We don't even have to agree. So please check your accusations.

ohh so now all of sudden you know which Afghan universities are the best and which aren't. I guess you have been to Afghanistan and thoroughly investigated the matter.

Again really?

common knowledge requires no reference. One does not need a complex explanation to why 2 + 2 gives 4.

Seriously ??? you have thrown out centuries of research methodology

No one have time to waste in a random forum and discussing with someone whose best knowledge comes from a Pakistani news channel.

Really? Really -- spend some time here and your opinion will change -- or maybe that is asking too much :-/

The problem with Pakistanis is that beyond what they're told, they know nothing. You guys are like a parrots repeating each other. Your brain cant think independently and you need someone to tell you what to say.

A beggar is a beggar regardless of the amount he begs for, whether it is 1 dollar or 10 dollars. So Pakistanis for your own sake stop deluding yourself. You're in no different boat than Afghanistan. The transit route has nothing to do with the aid money you receive.

I provided examples of how the US has made you slaves, and how the US is doing whatever it want with Pakistan. Whether it is droning your citizens or commanding you to attack your allies. Pakistan is the only nation who abandon his allies and provided help to its enemies to get rid of their own allies... how can anyone trust you. People of nowadays Pakistan region have backstabbed Afghanistan several times. You guys allied yourself with British empire, the US, Sikhs, Hindus etc. against Afghanistan. Now you're supporting terrorists... Taliban were archenemies with Iran, yet Iran did not provide any of it bases to be used against them. Israel the so called enemy of Islam did not provide the US with bases. Pakistan the so called allies of Taliban, provided transit route and it own bases for operations... Pakistan should be ashamed of it existence.

Now that I have provided several points in which way the US is doing whatever it want with Pakistan and commanding them like slaves. Now can you provide anything regarding Afghanistan doing the US bidding, nope you cant. Do you know why, because you guys have deluded yourself into thinking that Afghanistan is the US puppet, but the reality is quite different. The one who is doing the US bidding is the Pakistani government, but deluding the masses in Pakistan into thinking it is Afghanistan who is a puppet, so you can justify your support for terrorists.

First of all, your source is outdated and unreliable. Literally all sources indicates that the Afghan military have around 11,5 billion military budget. While Pakistan's is around 7 billion. Like it or not, when the civil war in Afghanistan is over, you will see Afghan army marching in Islamabad with an Afghan flag raised for everyone to see ;)

Well if they did drone strikes then we killed their soldiers in Afghanistan . Perfect tit for tat. ISI is even accused of killing loads of CIA officials in chapman bombing in Afghanistan. Americans have no idea what to do with us. They recently said in congress dealing with Pakistan was like dealing with a mafia and that they make us look stupid.

Well US provides salaries for your soldiers , Police and most of government officials. They make your foreign policies and have killed thousands of your people and all you could do was watch (In our case ISI was too ruthless to let them go and bombed their bases in Afghanistan and killed their soldiers ) . If you are asking for true puppet then it was during the Taliban rule when Afghanistan was a puppet of ours. It still is . We can mold you in any way , shape we like . Close torkham/ chaman , threaten refugees , attack your posts at border . Everything from Ding dong bubble gum to steel to Afghanistan comes from here. You would starve to death if Pakistan starts playing hard ball with you. When we closed Torkham afghans had nowhere to go for their medical check ups. We have too much leverage over you .

As for Afghan army marching into islamabad you might want to reconsider that. Because it starts vacating posts as soon as it sees taliban and indulge in Bacha bazi even during battlefield. Did i mention most are drug addicts?

As for your mighty budget. Sir your entire economy is not bigger than Peshawer ( our 8th largest city ) . Pakistan is on course to be in top 20 economies of the world in 10 years time. Where will afghanistan be? Still stuck where it is I suppose ? Our stock exchange is the best performing in asia and in top 5 in the world in terms of investment returns . We recently got upgraded to Emerging market index by MSCI along with countries like Turkey , Malaysia etc. You are comparing Honda Civic to a rickshaw here.

Don't get emotional on a virtual place. What will I gain if I accept a challenge from an individual like you on a forum? or if I spend days on your challenge of 'facts and figures' and supposedly even if I win the argument what would I get from it? 'nothing'.

This forum is a mere place of my leisure time activity and honestly this place is filled with hatred, arabs, turks hate iranians, indians hate pakistanis, iranians think they are superior to everyone here, pakistanis hate afghans, indians, bangladeshis, americans.. you name it and the rest does the same. It doesn't look like a professional defense forum most of posters from Pakistan are under age teenagers here.

Let me give you a real challenge, have a visit of Afghanistan sometime be my guest and lets see those 'facts and figures' personally and enjoy the scenic landscapes of Afghanistan.

Emotional ? seriously ? I'm not an emotional person -- even our @A-Team says so.

well I can't speak for you -- but for me I would take great gratification in the increase of my personal knowledge -- setting the record straight -- for me those things are important -- again I cannot speak for you. I for example do all of these things -- I'm sure they are not for nothing.

My dear, I think you are contradicting yourself -- you are saying that others are posting stuff with no research which has no value -- however you seem to apply a different standard to other posters -- perhaps it is for their leisure too -- hmmmm?

Now something occurred to me -- perhaps it is easy for me to conduct my research because the facts and sources support my case -- I for example have been searching for articles in Afghan newspapers that are critical of Afghan racism towards Pakistanis -- I have sadly not found one. So perhaps it is relatively easy for me because primary sources and the expert opinion is more aligned with what I espouse as opposed to what you wish to be espoused .... what do you think ?? Could we further conjecture that my opinion is closer to reality?

Well I don't know about the other sections of this form but I'd say that for a leisurely form the Afghanistan section is well run -- we get a lot of first-class articles here -- they are backed up by facts and references (sometimes not) and I learn a lot here.

Let me give you a real challenge, have a visit of Afghanistan sometime be my guest and lets see those 'facts and figures' personally and enjoy the scenic landscapes of Afghanistan.

Well again I do not have a research agency or funding at my disposal to conduct such an undertaking.

Visting and talking to 10 Afghans is not a scientific method of inquiry.

I for one (maybe I am wrong -- and I don't think I am) am happy to rely on research done by Asia Foundation, ICG, AAN, etc. And, by the way I kind of do research for a living ... finding out what people think, why they think that ... so I do know what it takes to establish facts, figures, insights, etc. ;-)

hmmm?
