Again I reiterate, I condemn these killings of any kind. But such things don't happen frequently, especially from Afghan army. They are not notorious unlike the Taliban to trigger IED's in the middle of cities killing innocents. So I suspect the presence of some high value target and specific Intel behind the attack.

Yet it should have avoided knowing very well that the colletral deaths would include a lot of civilians expecially children.

I guess this is the video shot from a surveillance drone just before the attack, it is officially released by Afghanistan Military. It certainly show some activity and one guy can be clearly seen carrying an assault rifle especially around 3:20 Mins.

Its shameful to defend such incident where dozens of innocent young people have died. I know you are an Indian and are use to killing unarmed kashmiris but I expect little more humility here.

The Afghanistani army/government militias are divided along ethnic lines. Could be a Tajik or Uzbek commander ordered this as those in attendance will have been majority Pakhtun. After all Kunduz is Pakhtun dominated and surrounded by Uzbek/Tajik majority regions on all sides.

The commander of military incharge is a Tajik.
He himself know that it is a maddrassa where childern are having a dastar bandi ceremony. All the children and people are phustoons. On the basis of suspicion that a taliban meeting is taking place inside some secret room in maddrassa they have bombed the whole Madrassas killing 150 innocent children. The childern on hearing the helicopters wanted to run, but their elders made sure no one would fire.
Such sad incident.

First Afghan military said all 70 deaths are taliban....
Then they say 40 are Taliban and few civilians also died.....
Then they said that casualities are 150 and all dead are innocent childern , but they are shot but the Taliban, when we bombed the Taliban.
While the doctors say, not a single dead or injured has any gun shot. Everyone died from the Ariel bombing.
In every attack Afghan officials are famous to muddle the death toll.
They lie and blame on others.
People have been blaming u.s, u.s is not some angel but there are several. Instances when u.s bombed a hospital and school last year on false information of afghan nation army and nds. There is a report that instead of fighting, they all day beg for NATO to do air strikes.
This is despicable act by their own army. To kill one or two people they have killed 100 flowers.

Video shows only one person is carrying AK-47 and probably a mosque guard....But Hindu always happy to see a Muslim bloodshed and because of one guard's gun you smelly creature justifying act of satan?

I was neither justifying nor supporting any kind of attacks. I was just quoting the official version Afghanistan Military with the Video they had provided in their Twitter Handle and the news in Al-Jeezera (i've quoted that too), they have categorically denied any civilian causalities.

I mean if you can believe the official version from your ISPR, so does Afghanistan and others reserve the right to believe their official.

P.S: It is not a new thing for Terrorists to hid behind Human shields. And Taliban is not an exception. And I never ever heard a word of condemnation from any of my fellow Pakistani friends (other than cheering) here about the death of civilians caused by IED explosions triggered by Taliban in Kabul and else where. Why these double standards towards Afghan civilians ??? :-(

That said it's totally wrong if they had targeted the Taliban even after knowing that the collateral may very well include Children. Should have been avoided. :-(

I would be an interesting research on how many Afghans lost lives since the occupation of their country by America and it's minions, during Taliban actions on one hand and by those of American forces and their puppet Kabul regime on the other.
