Keep it closed for a very long duration. Not a fly should be able to move from Afghanistan into Pakistan.

Problem with keeping gate closed for very long is that Afghans may get used to closed gate, and make other arrangements. At that point, you loose all leverage on Afghanistan.

Kashmiris have been waving flags every Friday- And pelt stones every Friday too- untill recently when they decided to attack and burn everything representing Govt- in the Valley in the form of Mob- Which is dangerous for the law enforcement and even more dangerous for the Mob- They ended up attacking Police station, Schools and even Temples- Hence the curfew was imposed for their own safety, Irrespective of curfew there have been uninterrupted supply of food, and medicines- Next time bring Kashmir on a relevant threat and refrain from littering It over all threads-

The people on this thread want the border of 2000+ kilometers closed.. 3000 kilometer border with India closed.. That leaves Iran with whom relations are bad and China.

Of course they cannot keep it closed. Sooner or later it will be opened. Closed border will hurt them as well. The internet warriors don't know the ground realities and mostly live in other countries or far away from the border, so it's easy for them to make all sorts of statements.
