IPF, your plan could work too, and it's quite obvious it is being tried as well. But the current relations with America and the lack of India's popularity amongst the Pashtuns would play in our favor. You've lost Iran, Afghanistan won't last longer either.

Adux, nothing's happened! I'm just suggesting stuff that could be done. So far the biggest wrench you've thrown to my scheme is Myanmar, that's got no scope of working out as of right now or in the nearby future.

Pakistan itself just has two JF-17s... If something like this happens, I'm guessing India would repeat a 1965 and go all out towards Lahore. So Pakistan really needs secured fronts on its own ends and then China really needs to have the muscle to supply all three other countries.

You have to think why is Pakistan helping out Bangladesh and SL as of right now? Both the countries are not in a position to buy weapons from us in significant numbers.

Bangladeshis have a good spirit and on lower level skirmishes even wiped out the Indian BSF which shows a high level of competency. They lack equipment. They almost don't have an Air Force. I'm guessing Pak can make an agreement to lease planes from China to BD and Pak pilots would be flying them.

There's so much flexibility to this plan. But the Myanmar problem needs to be worked out. Bangladesh won't give a nod to this plan till they are sure that they can get reinforcements easily.

What happens if China really commits to this war and flies reinforcements over Myanmar violating airspace without their permission? Myanmar cannot open fire onto the Chinese!

Mode of attack and political forcing of the 21st century India is very different to 1965, Lahore drive has more to do with relieving pressure rather than conquering Pakistan.Who started the war anyway, Lets not get there and de-rail your fine sense of dreaming without any backups.

Why cant India place troops in Burma; If Pakistan can; Why cant India. And they will engage Chinese airplanes with ease. Ever thought what will happen to China? When India can engage them. Why do people always assume that India wont do anything...lol
