Point is million upon million were killed and American Indians were pushed back to near extinction that makes them no better than Hitler , there was a Pakistan genocide in Bangladesh in 1971 that makes them no better than Hitler , there has been countless genocides done by countless dictators , only few take to the Media because of political reasons..

Not actually. You know that in India, Muslims lag behind in most social indicators, education being one of them. Minimum qualification to join the army is high school. Second, its not just Muslims, but many others are under-represented in the army. If you check carefully, Sikhs and Jats are overrepresented. Certain sects of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism are under-represented.

It is more cultural. Most recruits are taken from Punjab, Hariana, Himachal, Maharashtra (Marathas) and Rajasthan. UP/Bihar/Bengal/Central India/South India are heavily under-represented. Guess which states have heavy Muslim presence?

It is cultural difference, between different regions of India. Some places entire villages opt for army, irrespective of caste and creed. Those regions happen to have low Muslim populations. Some places - mostly UP/Bihar - entire villages opt for other government services. Some places - like Bengal - they go for other fields. South Indians - like Kerala - opt for gulf. West Indians - Gujarat/Maharashtra etc - go for businesses and other professional services. The representation of Muslims vary in those fields respective of their regions.

But the biggest hindrance is their averseness for modern/high education. And that is communal problem - they themselves would have to improve on it.

Just to give you a glimpse of general Muslim condition of India they are 20% of Population but only 3% (just 29000 thousand in whole army and % is even less among officers)of its armed forces while sikhs being only less than 2 % of indian population are more than 20% of Indian army . Army is normally considered a no 2 or 3 option as compare to IT , multinational comapnies etc jobs which are very well paying and less demanding so if this is how muslims are treated for army we can well imagine how they would be treated in other more attractive sectors.

Yes there are very few muslims who join army but why is it that in a muslim country like UAE the maximum number of Indians that I meet are muslims????

You are comparing apples and oranges.
Agreed that their is bias. Certain societies/builders in Mumbai don't sell to Muslims.
(Well, there is bias against unmarried/non-vegetarians and some more too, but only Muslim cause is justified. Kafirs can go to hell.)

That is bias, not suppression. For example, I do no want to live/work with certain group doesn't means that I am suppressing them. I do not have any power beyond my personal belongings. I am not authority. Get the drift?
