i had seen the final day telecast of "miss india" and she seemed to have a easy win... that may repeat in "miss world" too.

charisma and sincerity are quite important in progressive/socialist movements because it is more difficult to convince people for radical change and scientific politics.

since i am the thread starter i will answer first.

pdf having such a big international audience can really be a agent for peace, like "aman ki asha", and instead of constantly having nationalistic arguments, we should really be discussing local issues, regional issues and global issues and how to resolve them, and one way of establishing dialogue is creating threads for things that all the world's peoples have in common, whether it is music or jokes or progressive political systems or scientific/technological research or indeed other cultural things like the topic of this thread.

the members must be thankful to the forum management for allowing non-military topics to have big threads or even have such threads at all.

i don't like wars, though i will defend the stand of every progressive/socialist thought in the world... no one should be talking of war... war is barbarism and should be abolished... i constantly keep speaking of a united communist humanity where war and oppression is a thing of the past.
