^Why's that worthy of posting here janaab? Emotional stimulus doesn't to most people reflect what's in the substance of the adhaan.

The difference between Athan in Arabic and Azan in south east Asia is in a soft Z in the former and a strong Z in the latter.
But the main thing is that Athan or Azan is beautiful in meanings and deeds.

Doesn't matter what word we use. Athan, Adan, Azan. It is call for prayers.

And no! we should not turn our call to prayer into a Raga, or Beethoven's symphony. No Michael Jackson or Mad-donna either. It is a call to prayer and not some dance club routine.

so please no singing. Just simple and beautiful words said in plane language.

The problem comes from the fact that many Muslims do not care about the meaning of Azan.

Had they known the meanings then they would never sing like:

Gaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwdddddddd iiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssssssssss Ga! reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaattttttttt

Instead they would say God is great.

I don't have to sing songs to say simple sentence "God is great".

That's all. God is great.

We should believe in separation of church and clubs. When you want to listen to music you should go to the club. When you want to pray, you should go to mosque.

Club is not mosque, and mosque is not club.

Mullah should be Mullah, and singer should be singer. No Mullah singer or no singer Mullah.

Peace.

They stretch the words to cover distance. Is it not obvious?

Come on brother. Live in the 21st century. What distance you want to cover? From your lips to the microphone?

Update my brother. Update to the the windows latest system. No need to live in the age of kalam dawat and typewriters, and donkeys, and tonga carts.

peace.

Just use logic.

How would it sound if you say prayer is better than sleep normally in urdu?

Namaz sonay se bethar hain. Namaz sonay se bethar hain.

It would be like shouting commands.

If they do azan with passion, what is the harm?

After all Hazrat Bilal was known for having the most beautiful voice for azan.
